Unacceptable

I got into a game of Kumas with a person who picked boss and went straight to the enemy base and we just got destroyed. Was not fun. I was annoyed but I just qeued up again and was placed in a game with the same person right after. I was raid leader and I could not even leave the match without logging out. I haven't been the luckiest with this modes matchmaking but this is downright unacceptable.

This type of stuff happens in so many competitive games/modes and its a shame that developers even add competitive modes to their games without thinking of mitigating this type of stuff. Usually the victim has to take penalties and what not because they don't even want to bother.

I know EME doesn't develop Tera so I'm basically writing a wall to wall but I hate the fact that one person can just waste and ruin so much of other peoples' time and nobody cares when developing games. I hope EME implements a report system because people picking boss and throwing is way too common and it becomes a giant waste of time that I find hard to tolerate. A report system will also help against win-traders as well.

I don't even like Kumas that much but the rewards are good whether leveling, farming feedstock, farming credits, or making gold. I've gotten decent at attacking and I'm not saying I should win every game but this mode is very uncompetitive right now. Simply punishing bad Kumas bosses in some manner will help tremendously in my opinion. I don't see anything wrong with "If you're not good at Kumas boss, don't pick him." One person wasting 9 peoples' time is the bigger travesty, I'll just leave it at that.

  • I forgot to add that when I was invited to the party, I saw he was in the team and I had no option to decline. This was the actual moment of my despair and utter hopelessness.

Try to get in the middle against the gate before it starts, hit O to jump to the boss, and hit X to take control. I started controlling the boss a few days ago and now I win 75%+ of the time. Stay back by your spawn point and use the jump moves, R2, and blue beam often. The spray is not very good because it leaves you open to people getting behind and side of you.

Also, I spam in chat to attack not defend. And the boss stays back st spawn point. The farther they run the less time attacking our boss.
  • I'm not good at boss and I don't want to waste peoples' time learning. I actually have a conscience if I pick boss and get wrecked. I just don't want to be placed with boss throwers. That's all I want.

I have three maxed characters and all the other classes over 30. I’ve only been in one match where our boss suicided to troll. And I play more kumas than dungeons. They usually don’t do that until everyone knows it’s over. So you wasted 20 minutes no big deal. I’ve been in failed dungeons that took almost an hour and never finished. died so many times I lost all my gold.
  • Those are called kumas trolls, usually those player works for the same guild. If one of them get matched with the oponent team, he try to help their friend to win by picking your big kuma . And let her to be killed to win points and rewards easy.

Then troll A share rewards with troll B. And they can do the same all day , We used to have this on pc all the times , we tried to remember the player name and vote out every round. If he or she appears in our team
This happened when kumas was level 20 -65 .
  • I don't understand these people. I'm asking to be able to report people for wasting my time and you are getting defensive about it. If they implement a report system, just how does it impact you negatively and why are you here trying to tell me what to do? I never asked for Kuma tips. I get #1 boss damage on any decent team. I don't like being placed with idiots on boss. I. Don't. Like. It.

    Play only solo content then.

Tested kumas this week on tuesday. Played 16 matches in the evening.

    Summary:

Entry time for the bg in the evening 1 up to 3 minutes.

1 out of 16 games wasn't a 2:0 and instead a 2:1 (the reason for this trend is that many players give up after the first loss or actually helping the enemy by taking boss kuma and running to the enemys spawn, also unbalanced playerskills on both sides)

3 out of 16 matches one side had a troll which takes the boss kuma and running to the enemy spawn in the first round (as already mentioned, can be abuse of some guilds or a rly unexperienced player)

15 out of 16 matches 50% to 80% of all players were total noobs, they don't understand how to fight (using 5 attack buttons + 2 evades), they don't understand that it is necessary to hit the enemy boss not only to win the game but to get a lot more ks and bc points (instead they fight other babys), they don't understand how you have to play in groups to be efficient, they don't understand how to use heal crystals, they don't understand boss positioning and blocking and so on...
To be honest, its not a big difference to the pc release of kumas, only players there adapting faster cause they played the game longer and know a bit better how game mechanics working.

I got a solid 8 loss 8 win statistic. I never took the boss and play alone so its ok for me especially cause the match is over so fast, give such a high amount of rewards and the cd is nearly nonexistent. (devs pls change this, the reward makes no sense for the low time and effort -.-)

If it wasn't such a braindead bg version I would be rly happy about the high participation. I would like to see the amount of players in 3v3, fwc or cs. ^^
  • EME is a subsidiary of Bluehole, so you are giving the feedback to the right guys... unless you can talk korean.
