Anniversary Foot Steps and Scarf discussion
Just a question but will these be temporary or permanent. Last years wings were amazing and I was so glad to get them forever so I was just curious ( They'd look great on my new sorc I'm working on.)

Wait stats? I hope this is a joke that I am somehow missing as it will be seriously unfair to any players that miss the event. Also what if you prefer to wear another cosmetic outfit?
That actually worries me. More chance items with stats. I personally believe it's a bad idea... Sure, I can assume the boost may be pretty minor, but a few drops of water here and there are all it takes to overfill the glass. We already have mounts with stat boosts that not everyone can get due to bad luck, so the game has already started to tip towards the lucky and the uber rich.
So again, while minor at the moment, please think about any future additions to this practice.
I don't want to be cynical but this feels like a "toe into the water" scheme to me to test player reaction to stats on cosmetics.
I really hope this doest happen and if it does that is the last time we see stats on cosmetics.
As it is stats on limited availability items like the dragon/phoenix mounts are already pushing it, with the mounts being (mostly) cash-only and completely RNG, stats on cosmetics would just open the doors for 250+ EMP RNG lootbox exclusive costumes that give stats. Even if it's something useless at first, it's the precedent that matters.
I really don't want to see stats added to other things that shouldn't have stats. Especially something like cosmetics, people enjoy making their character look how they want.
Forcing cosmetics on people with stat increases is a terrible idea, especially in a game like Tera which has no override function for cosmetics because the cosmetics are the override.
This is the kind of [filtered] that leads people to modding costumes and stuff when every top-tier player looks exactly the same, because stats.
I believe there will also be both versions given out in abundance, one type that is just the costume ( for those that like the look ) , and the type with HP / MP stats.
Also, I think there will be more ways to get the Stat version of scarf than just the "Find an EME Employee".
;_;
I hope I can run into you guys and get one for a friend who is in the hopsital he'd be hyped. I also plan to try to buy the footsteps ( And will there maybe be hair coupon drops again too? please with sugar on top)
This sums up the situation. Cosmetics for anniversary is a great idea, stats on cosmetics are a big no whether or not they are tradebale. I can see this event being botted or alt accounted to hell as you an be sure prices of these items will be sky high after the event. Unless of course EME "graciously" has plans to have stat costumes available late perhaps through rng lootboxes...
Also no one appreciates begin forced to use a particular cosmetic because of stats.
Please, please reconsider this.
It'll just be the same stats as the K-TERA ones, yeah, and it wasn't anything game-breaking by any means.
Also, yeah I agree.. stats on cosmetics? BIG EW NO!
They will be "tradeable" (as in between characters) but not available via the trade broker. Just want to clarify that.
2. However, still I do not understand how come EME thinks a limited edition (by an event) with a stat seems cool even if it is tradable.
- If you miss the event, you will have to "pay" to get it.
- In the future, even if someone strongly wants it for some reason, the person will not bee able to get it because there will be no scarf left in the market since supply is only a single event.
people will stop complaining once they see the actual stat is not a bug deal, however, a limited edition with a stat just has more negative effect than positive (including FUN).
