TR Mass PvP
Tempest Reach is a PvE server. I get that, I don't need your comments tellin me to transfer to Mount Toxicity.
Down to Business I want to recreate the GvG function on this PvE server. Organized Mass PvP.
Since it is a PvE server, I feel it is best not to restrict the players battling to 2 guilds. But rather open it up to all of the servers PvP'rs, and develop the teams as people apply. Feedback on this idea would be appreciated, I've had minor conversations with the guild Recovery about setting this up. There will be requirements to try with maintain the balance and integrity of the Mass PvP. 459ilvl will likely be a requirement
TEAMS: Since we are limited to the Deathmatch function as our only source of "mass" PvP, we will have to create multiple teams and have multiple death matches active at one time. This leaves us with a bracketing option. Which requires more organization, however if done properly we can create a very competitive mass PvP environment. EG: 60 Players attend this Thunderdome, that's 6 teams. Starting teams will be as balanced as possible. Moving into the first fight there will be 3 matches happening at one time. The Players who die are kicked out of the bracket. When the first match ends new teams will be formed based on who is left. This is bound to leave us with too many or too little players, so all the matches may not remain 10v10.
This is all hypothetical and open for discussion. I simply wish to evolve the PvP experience on this server.
