Does not work with LAN connection

Unable to launch game it disconnects every 5 seconds when internet is connected to LAN. All other PS4 online games work fine but for some reason Tera disconnects every 5 seconds.

    The network layer underlies in the console ecosystem not within the game itself, maybe your ethernet cable or router is "fluctuating" forcing the game to disconnect being that it's 100% internet dependent.

    Seems like its 100% the game. I have to start up the game then close it then start it up again every time I want to play Tera. The first time I start it up it disconnects every 5 seconds. The second time it works fine. No other games do this really annoying.

    What I tried to say is that the game won't notice the difference between the internet going through LAN or WiFi, regardless of the game kicking you out.

    is your ISP blocking the ports tera uses? is your router blocking those ports?

    Put one of your Xbox consoles in DMZ, problem solved.

    Here's a general guide on how to do it.



    It'll show you how but you need access to your ISPs web interface to change it, and i do know that some ISPs doesn't have the best web interfaces available, but it's something for you to look into at the very least.

    It helped me solve a lot of issues. Before i put one of my Xbox consoles into DMZ i couldn't use the other to host my ARK server or my CE server, but once i put the Xbox i play on into DMZ, i could host and play just fine on both consoles.
