Hello everyone,

I just started getting interested on playing TERA and I want to know few things before:

1. What class is good for PVP and PVE or what class rule the PVP?
2. Is there any code/promo I can use on a new account/char to get stuff?
3. What server got most population
4. Active guilds recruit new members? If so, your guild could accept a new member ( I don't like to play alone)

P.S: I am thinking to buy Elite status? It's that a good choice?

I appreciate a lot if anyone answer.

    PvP the classes are mostly balanced, although there is a range where some classes perform better than others in certain situations, if you're good enough you'll be fine with any class in PvP.

    There are some promo codes every now and then, although I can't think of any that are currently active.

    TR/MT have the highest populations. The PvE/PvP tag doesn't really matter since you can't OWPvP till 65, and most of the area's that contain endgame content in the open world, are safe-zones where you can't PvP. The only time OWPvP matters is during 1/2 of the rally BAM spawns and when hunting one of the 7 world bosses that actually drop loot in the open world.
    Most PvP is done in BG's or duels in common player chosen locations.

    You should probably pick a server before joining a guild.

    Elite status is handy for some things, but not necessarily worth the price.
    While levelling it comes with a "free" 100% exp boost so long as you have elite, which hastens levelling. Although levelling is already super fast, and once you've reached 65 on one character purchasing a 100% exp boost with in-game gold is trivial.
    You also have a village atlas which allows you to teleport to locations, but pretty much everything in the game allows you to teleport to it from a menu so you can get by without ever needing it.
    A permanent crystalbind and everful nostrum are both convenient, but at endgame both items are practically worthless.
    Extra broker listings without fee's is useful but wont benefit you much until you get into farming endgame, since almost nothing obtained from 1-64 is worth selling on the broker.
    Double dungeon entries are useful, but only if you have a lot of free time, or are farming the harder endgame dungeons. Without plenty of free time you'll likely never cap out on the low/mid-tier endgame dungeons given reset scrolls and vanguard caps exist.

    The only item in elite that's of significant value would be the 280 speed flying mount, which is mildly costly and would take probably around half a week to a week to obtain the funds for even at endgame, on a single character, while the elite mount is account wide so long as elite is active.

    I wont say whether or not you should get it, it could help a bit with a new account, but a lot of the perks are also not very helpful unless you grind a lot, or are at endgame so...

    Elite isn't very useful for leveling players (compared to endgame). It's just the XP bonus and fast travel if you want to do some sightseeing around.

    For bonus stuff, you can use Buddy up code which is kind of mentor/student system. There are numerous people posting their BuddyUp codes on forums.
