Guile set +9 - +12. Only 200 feed!
I decided to do a little experiment since I had nothing else to do. How expensive would it be to get a +12 set using only the minimum amount of feed? I did accidentally use max feed on my boots twice(failed both times) so even though I used about 200, it was more like 150. The set in my bank was already +9 but that's easy anyway so I didn't bother starting over from +1.
But how many alks did it take? Not a lot. It was maybe 50k gold to buy the premium and extensive I needed. I had a bunch of personals from my lancer, which I'm doing another gear test with, and a reaper.
400 personal rare alk -free
400 personal extensive alk - free
304 premium alk - 115g
240 extensive - 31g
There was a small strategy here. I "primed" each piece with rare alk a few times before using extensive and only used the premium for getting the final enhancements.
Conclusion? Don't waste weeks of your time farming dungeons if your only goal is feed. You can easily go through a few thousand feed by auto enchanting and not even notice.

To get my weapon from +11 to +12 i failed so much the chance to enchant was raised by 15%.
Only reason you can buy them is because of the folks buying them from the store and selling. Aka the whales. Alkahest is way too hard to get unless you pay money for it or farm/spend exorbitant ammounts of gold.
Honestly, i went through my stash, used a few from my alts and spent 20k gold just to get the weapon to +12.
Btw this doesn't include the masterworking itself, wich can also be hell.
Even misery were only 15k or 18k per character your future console patch.
We used to have events that helps communty maybe consoles players can ask for a feedstock and alkahest event.
Yea but everyone is upgrading the same stuff at the same time and no one has years of feedstock stockpiled in the bank yet. BTW how much do costumes cost on PC? I want to save enough gold to buy cosmetics I want in the future but I don't know if things are overpriced right now or does the EMP-gold ratio get worse?
