Otherwise it is impossible to finish quest lines that involve dungeon runs you out leveled. XP is just too fast.

    Solo them, or LFG them and find a party on your own server. Could also ask a lvl 65 friend to carry you through it for the quest.
    IMS is not the only way to enter an instance

    by the time I can solo the gear will be obsolete, spent hours trying to get groups already, no friends

    You should not focus on quests on your way to 65... only do the dungeons and even better: Kumas and you will be 65 in no time... quests can be done afterwards since you don't need them anyway during you adventure because you have all the new dungeon loot.

    IIRC (and what i was told since i didn't play during this period) there was this future in the past known as "Blast from the past"...Many people liked it as it allowed high levels to run with lower levels...however it was removed due to people kicking lower levels and trying to mill for higher levels to make the run go faster cause there was gear they wanted that was from this feature
