Instead I will answer your question with a question: why are there "best" classes in the game?
TERA is a PvE game. That's why so many people care about PvE balance. That's why PvP was pretty much dead until they put stuff in the KS/BC shops.
Try doing Island of Dawn BAMs on a sorcerer and then on a brawler/ninja with the same equalized gear. Then you'll notice the difference and it will answer your question to why.
Based on the paragraph I just read, it seems like someone else needs some growing up...
You might have had a point, had this game been a more PvP focused game. As it stands, the last good change to PvP mechanics and gameplay came years ago when the game went F2P. I'm pretty sure the disproporionate amount of players, changes and content created or centred around PvE versus PvP speaks more volume than your small rant.
Don't feel brawler is dumb at all it's in a good spot the nerfs that we will be getting to me is fine I feel the removal of the vacuum skill is stupid and the dmg nerf on the rage is fine and the aggro buff isnt needed lol. Ninjas won't be getting nerfed past this and this is the last change to the brawler as well for the foreseeable future. So buffing other classes dmg and abilities is good the old classes are getting revamped and feeling stronger so everything will be equalish in a sense. But we won't see the revamp for months after this coming patch they even mentioned sorc is getting pushed to be the top dpsers again since they are in such a bad place right now.
because my ninja is too cute so they are so jealous of her cuteness
Now, my opinion, again, on the matter if this game is pvp focused or pve, at least most, if not all ads of this game I've seen around where combat or any semblance of it is present, show characters against monsters. Unlike pvp games where you would see characters against characters. Also, the difference in amount of pvp with amount of pve makes it pve heavier. Still, not gonna say the game is pvp or pve focused (don't feel today like being bitten and told I'm an immature fool who should die or something by some heated up poster. So I'll leave it at that.
Still, as a solely pve player who express his opinion but does not complain about most of the content, I'd support what's I've just said and been saying around lately. The idea of balancing all classes for pvp first, because this affects people on both sides of a battle ground, THEN adjust the relevant pve content(meaning end game) around the capabilities of those pvp focused classes. Reason? Because Dakuryon(the boss NPC) won't complain about any buff or nerf done to him.
PvP is an activity that constantly improves? Maybe in other games that are based completely around PvP or are in large parts influenced by it. This is not the case for Tera, at all. The closest you had was VM1 days and Alliance. VM1 days were pretty much the glory days for both PvP and PvE, even without any real PvE update. Also, PvP can and does stagnate.
The issue with PvE is the content and rewards. If the only PvP that had been created was Kumas and that Tank/Colosseum trash, you wouldn't be sitting there all smug on your high horse; the best two BGs are still the two that were released years ago (and some of the best dungeons were also released near then to). When nearly all the dungeons are baby's first MMO tier difficulty and the hardest are meh tier, with most giving abysmal rewards for the effort put in (mostly time rather than ability), is it no wonder most people are bored. When classes make others nearly obsolete because of the fact that you have limited party members and some do two to three times the effect for less effort. When those classes (and the power creep of others having to catch up) break the mechanics or make them trivial because of how powerful and easy they are. When the new gear is pretty much the exact same thing as the previous patch, but with a slightly modified enchant line and base stat. Just as, if you take my example of only having trash PvP BGs (and let us pretend no OWPvP... which is pretty much true at the moment anyways), you'd be complaining about boring PvP content. Also, I don't know what game you are playing, but I see PvPers complaining constantly about dead queues, gear imbalances and broken mechanics and classes. Also, there is competition (and thus, in a sense, PvP) in PvE. It may not be as dynamic nor require as much reactionary game play, but it still exists and it always has, even before Crusades.
All this while ignoring the amount of energy put into appeasing and caring for these PvErs compared to PvP. The last big PvP effort was put into Alliance and it was mostly a flop, and I say mostly only because they had to rework it and it was still only marginally better. You can claim the game is PvP focused all you want, but you are objectively wrong. And this is coming from someone who only used to play PvP games and was hoping, way back when Tera was released, that this game would focus largely on PvP. I get it, and I get your attitude; I used to bash PvE (and the players) all the time in Guild Wars 1, a game mostly built and focused around PvP. But again, no matter how much you believe otherwise, this game is largely driven to be a PvE game by both the majority of players and development time.
On the flip side, it still baffles me how easy it would be to keep PvP relatively balanced, while switching around a few things every once in a while to keep the meta and mechanics from stagnating. Which brings me to my final point on this; what are you complaining about when PvErs talk about boring content or class imbalances in PvE? From your own admissions, PvP apparently can't stagnate, so what is your issues with PvE? If PvP can't stagnate, then it doesn't need any update. If it doesn't need any update, then what the devs and other players spend there time on is irrelevant because, even without major updates, it "never ends and constantly improves" - you, 2078.
The fact is that if you were to remove all PvE content from this game right this moment, Tera would die. If this was a PvP focused game, from either the player base or developer point-of-view, then you could remove all PvE content and the game would still be fine. I seriously hope I don't have to go into this any further.
What is your point? Kamizuma makes that in a day without having to play PvE or PvP. Does that then mean trade broker PvP is the main focus of the game? After all, if it is simply about gains, then that is observably the highest. I believe you are mixing the other person's arguments with mine and posting irrelevant drivel. As an aside, since when was FWC/PvP even that profitable?
