Can 'Liberation Scrolls' remove soulbound gems from equipment

I'm curious as to whether this is possible or not. Seeing as the time it takes to get 4 perfectly rolled fused weapon gems would be worth [for me] using a liberation scroll to transition my gems to the next piece of gear.

    I would save your perfectly rolled dyads for ambush gear. I'm 99% sure dyads transfer from Ambush to Behemoth.

    Liberation scrolls can ONLY be used on +15 gear (AKA ambush and Imperator currently) and can't be used on any other item
