Please equalize the rates at which letters drop.

I get that the letter drops are supposed to be rare, but most of the people I'm farming with have a decent amount of R's and A's while T's and especially E's are very rare. It's not like if we find a set, we get a sellable Jadeheart mount. Taking hours farming only to be able to complete 1 set is a bit much. Please don't post your disputes trying to disprove me as plenty of others are running into the same situation.

Since these tokens have been given much less value (75 for a riding mount), can you please at least equalize their rates?

Pretty sure the rates are equalised, but just because each letter shares an equal drop chance doesn't necessarily mean you'll average out to a roughly equivalent ratio of each letter.
Everyone I've played with so far has totally random letters they're short on, a mate and I did T1 BAM grinding, across 16 vanguards, 160 kills, on the same mobs, one of us had very few A's (guess who) the other had very few R's.

Or if there were some way to exchange a letter we have tons of for a letter we're lacking. Not one for one, because that would completely defeat the point, but like if I could, say, exchange 10 A's (which I have significantly more of than anything else) for 5 T's (which I'm way behind on).

The only good thing in the anniversary token store is the mount.
They want people die hard for it. I bet thats why the mount is so expensive.
75 tokens, 4 letters each token sounds like tons of letters.
Is a 24/7 event only the ones who play tons of time deserve the mount for them I guess.

On the other hand you can buy things on the pay store for tokens and make things faster. Thats the options for us the players.

I don't think getting all the letters is that hard. Be sure to explore all the options of acquiring them. :)

But they are...you got 4 different items (ontop of other loot) fighting for the same spot.....RNG is RNG...it's a D sometimes
  • Nothing is rare - they already drop at the same frequency.
  • Rng is what it is

RNG... Just yesterday, i was lacking in "T"s (most of my letter drops have been "E" and "R"). After whacking Khemadia in Wyrmgorge (auto loot pet is mandatory and still could miss some letters once the dragon teleports to a different location), I got a bunch of them. The percent chance drop for letters is still low compared to the number of pages I got but if you get a lot of hits on the boss (especially with turbo time).... and this was only for the short period he was in that location.

So the amount of each letter I have are beginning to even out a bit (this is actually more than I thought I would have by now since I'm not really playing a lot).

So yeah, I'm going to be roaming around that zone to take a baseball bat to that pinata dragon.

OK, Thank you so much for the response. I will let my team know, so we have hope. LOL

Seriously, we thought the drop rates were so different, because of what we were getting. We were even gonna party up and take what letters we needed, but didn't seeing as we all needed the same letters.

Still, you guys could look into this guy's idea:

Sounds pretty fair and it wouldn't ruin the event, you'd still need to farm your #ss off if you wanted to gather tokens! Would be a nice thing to be added like, in the last week of the event, just so people could put all their leftover letters to use before they disappear, right?

Everyone's different from the screenshots, I for example get way less "E" letters than the others it's just rng.
  • yet one way to offset this is to sell the actual letter in the token shop itself
    - say 1 coin can buy 2 of a letter T/E/R/A
    - this way you can convert 4 letter into 2 (of the type that you need), you are at a loss but when you have too many of 3's and not enough of 1's it makes a lot of sense to convert them
