This is not normal and no one seems to care, please do something

I have made several reports about the huge population issue that the server i play on is facing, but i got no answer or explanation and it doesn't seem like anything will be done in the near future to fix the problem. Zyrnaxis server on Ps4 is in the terminal stage of the "dying process" only 1 month after its release, huge amounts of players are permanently leaving on a daily basis and the amount of new players to replace them is almost non-existant lets just take one simple example that is my guild: we have 90 level 65 players we recruited within the last 3 weeks, now, only 10 of these still play the game. There is almost no one making lfgs, trading and brokering is dead, all highwatch and velika channels start getting on low population afer 10:30 pm, even during the day they are not much populated anymore. Last time i adressed this issue to someone from eme's staff ive been told that you guys consider every server to have a "healty amount of population", well that is a big joke, this is the week end, it is 0:30 am and there is not even 8 people in highwatch channel 1. I don't know if it is the chinese farming bots that corrupt your numbers, but you should definitely do a complete report of zyrnaxis real active population to see the real truth. Even "noobland" (place where you start the game with your new character) is almost desert during the day

Important note: if you don't play on zyrnaxis or if you play on a healthy populated server, please do not comment on this post as you cannot possibly know what you are talking about, thanks !

  • Queue's use every server combined, the only thing choosing a server does for you is Auction House Prices.

    Also population is super low on every server when the trophy for getting level 65 is less than 0.4% so there is like no one playing to end game. We'll have to wait and see if there is a surge after an update otherwise it seems that Tera didn't pick up on console as much as anyone would like. It took 4 hours for a queue to pop and I run a Mystic, heals shouldn't be taking that long, So i know what you mean.

    Eh the level 65 trophy is bugged so it isn't a good indicator of overall player level across servers. IIRC matchmaking has been slow/broken since the patch a few weeks ago.

    They fixed the trophies and they will pop when a person signs in all at once but it's super low and the queue time has only gotten longer as days go by. Even during Peak as a heals i shouldn't be waiting as longer as DPS would.

    It's why i used the trophy as a indicator, of the people who played almost no one reached 65 but tons have played a bit after 30 then stopped. I fear this game will become a ghost town well in before any new stuff and even after they add things.

    Just wrong. 90% of my guild still didnt got the Lvl 50/65 Achievements, despite having several Toons at max.

    There are still alot of people online most of the time on Zyrnaxis, so it´s far away from dying but ye most people seem to play max level, do some 410 dungeons and think they are done when they have guile set lol. By far not.

    But actually i still find alot of random 417 groups via que, it´s just that those are really dumb and either disband after one try or you come in, listen to trashtalk about too less gear on people without even trying and then disband.

    I guess i will make shouts for 417 dungeons soon, i found a way to shout for 410 dungeons already which seems to work great.

    I am sure they are taking a break or working/playing on a different character/class.

    My main is a brawler which is level 65 but haven't played with my brawler for a week cuz i keep making/trying new classes.
    Level 65 mystic
    Level 65 sorcerer
    Level 65 reaper
    And all of them are in different guilds.

    Most people prefer to avoid velika and highwatch because of lag/freezing.
  • There are two main things people have been missing. Firstly, for some reason there are too many supports (I feel dirty saying this XD) for dungeons. Secondly, there are not enough healers for pvp (corsairs mainly) queues

    Yes the people who hit it before they fixed the achievements are not counted but at the same time as a Heals I shouldn't be in Queue for almost 3 hours and change during peak hours on US PS4 Nyxarras.

    Interesting enough, they said when people relog after that update they should have popped but let's say the % is higher, currently on PS4 it's 5% it was 4% the other day so there are people getting it or it popping etc but the sample size of community is so small.

    Ah maybe you're a little outta the loop. The trophy/achievement thing has been...weird. When the patch went live and the server maintenance finished, some players who relogged had their trophies pop. However, some (apparently a lot according to psntrophies forums) had no trophies pop when they relogged (myself included). Since then it has been confirmed that Saleron's Sky Garden is still glitching trophy/achievement progression so the core problem hasn't been fixed.

    This issue occurs around the level 50-60 mark. It's why there's such a huge drop from level 40 to level 50 (18% down to 11%). I'd put the level 65 percentage at around 10% atm because it's easy enough to get to.

    The problem seems to be something they did during the patch that absolutely destroyed matchmaking times. Even during peak EU hours, as my Mystic I would queue for maybe a minute and a half tops before getting into a dungeon. Post-patch I was seeing significant delays in matchmaking times. It has only gotten worse. Tera might be hemorrhaging players but their matchmaking also isn't working as it should.

    Is your main server zyrnaxis or did you just play on it once or twice so you can make this delusional post ? i can assure you zyrnaxis is as populated as eu pc servers were before they were merged. there is still few players online but i can assure you it far far far far away from bein "a lot of people" like you said. Velika outskirt is always desert no matter the time or the day, prices on the trade broker are insane (700g each for colluva ore when they are 80 g each on maliagoe, almost 10 times more expensive) and the list goes on and on and on again

    -Let's assume your theory is right, is it normal for you that more than 50% of the players took a break from a game that is 1 month old ?
    -If you are right and they just made a new character, then the new character would fill the void of the old one however, the server never felt so empty, people are leaving and are not coming back, new players that replace them are as rare as a saint in a brothel

    You can thank things like fortnite and destiny 2 expansion pulling players away in mass, furthermore console players on average dont know what it is to commit to a mmorpg in any sense of the word. However we have the exact same issues pvp wise on xbox so i feel your pain and i do agree, its a depressing feeling that such a great mmo had to have 6 pointless servers instead of the original 4 and has forced us into a slump.

    Hmm, I had a friend who is missing achievements but mine worked all the way through. I am only missing the two world boss achievement but with next to no one around I have a bleak outlook honestly.

    No man the world bosses are easy. The highest lvl arun boss is 55. Goes down in a couple of hits, the rest go down in one shot. The bosses on the other continent don't even matter as you can just kill the BAM's 15 times instead.
