Try mudfish by far the best vpn for very little money, may help you may not, it's not all that user friendly but once you get it set up right it's very good and very cheap.

Even then, though, I'm not sure they'd do too much better than 230ms from South America. That's honestly pretty good as far as ping times go, considering the internet infrastructure it's covering.
I get a stable 150-155ms with VPN from Curitiba (southern part of Brazil), without VPN average is 190-200 atm, but there's usually a 3h+ period everyday that it can get as bad as 280-350, usually after 4-5pm PDT, doesn't always happens but yep, pretty unplayable as the game will spike a ton as well, and from what i can see i'm not the only one affected, vpn CAN help a ton, though it's not guaranteed.

What re u using? From aArgentina i get 260+ms all the time, and near 300 in some hours. I tryed some WTFast trials and have no improve at all

    Mudfish is da wae.
I'm also from Brazil, southeast, and mudfish reduces my usual ping (260 when it's not peak hours/spiking - 400+ when it's peak hours) to a solid 150-160ms, and it doesn't spike.
I have tried both monthly payment and pay per traffic/usage payment. when the game is literally unplayable because of the lag, I've noticed that the 0.99$ (mothly) doesn't handle the lag as the game will freeze anyway, it isn't something that happens every hour of the day but does happen everyday at peak hours, but it is perfect when the game is simply lagging, not like insanely lagging, which is all the time (what I mean is, it lags 100% of the time, at least for us, South America players, but the insane lag is during X hour(s) of the day, not EVERY hour). So if you're not planning on playing all day, the 0.99$ will do just fine!
Tho even when it's literally unplayable, a truly insane lag, if i'm using the pay for traffic per usage, I don't lag at all, it really handles it all. Read more about both methods so you'll understand better, in case you're interested.
I'm rabbit's gf and we both have suffered a lot bc of ping due to living in brazil, so we have tried all kinds of VPN and so far, for me at least, Mudfish is the only one that actually helps, like, for real. it's worth every cent.
  • I will get the 0.99 then. Im eager to see this game in less than 200ms :p

Vpn and proxy is not going to do much. A waste of money if u ask me..
The best way is actually just either upgrade your isp package or set up your network exclusive for your gaming rig (no sharing port with anyone). I use 30mbps fiber optic internet package. No mongos will escape me now.

isp package isn't going to help you either, no idea where you get that at..........
I have a 200+ mbps connection and Tera is still the only game to give me trouble...
I live roughly 5 hours or so from where the servers are supposedly located at and I still have times when my ping goes south
We are talking from 300 - 3,000 and I'm the only one on my network. Its only happening on Tera and no other games.

I'm not the one complaining. So..
Feel free to pay more for gaming vpn then.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
