I don't mind how they changed the healing (at least in dungeons) because now it's not as mindless as it used to be, but holy hell... the whining dps players (and occasionally tanks) are just too much.
@Ardent Honestly. I was actually considering giving your comment some thought and then I got here. When we mentioned Healing Immersion I couldn’t find anywhere in my post or someone saying they didn’t use it. I’m not sure how you can use something that’s actually happening as an excuse as well seeing as had you done a little digging it was a known bug/ issue.
To your pvp comments... I can tell you’re one of those priests constantly caught in a ground pound and I’m constantly having to arise you as well as the dps. Smh
Healers were never taught as healers in BHS' eyes, the role title "support" was honestly ignored since launch.
The PvP heal debuff should be removed. Honestly with the big hit on basic heals on awakening the pvp nerf isn't necessary anymore. After that, the numbers are honestly balanced, the ridiculous amount of damage people have now should be nerfed instead.
I am of the belief that, in regards to Mystics, I think they are more like the green mages from Final Fantasy, causing mischief as well as being healers. A mixed variety, if you will. Mystics can be a balance of both offense and heals. In fact I've been partied up with several who'd utilize both quite well.
P.S.: I think they nerfed the heals to keep everything balanced and not make one apex class too OP over the other ones. Athough I do think the Zerker is even more of a murderhouse than ever now lol
So....you want 1 person to teach EVERY heal in CS to help each other.....If It's a winning cause in CS, healing becomes no problem. Because everyone is focusing on the objective and ALL the healers are in 1 place sticking with the team and actually doing their job, however if It's a losing case. Then EVERYONE is scattered across the map along with the healers, that's when people start complaining about the lack of heals and where healing becomes a pain when that 1 healer is actually following the objective and sticking with their team where as the others are either still outside healing pvp'ers at the gate or on mid wasting time as usual.
Based on what you've been saying I've come to believe you don't even run CS....at most of that I don't even think you run it on a healer....the heal nerf is stupid in CS....Healing for 9k with focus heal and....16k with Titanic favor can HARDLY bring someone back to full health, I think healing immersion heals for 39k....but even if you're with more than 1 healer, with the amount of damage that is done can hardly be enough to help, when you think the person you're healing is fighting 1-2 people. Even if you do help out what makes you think the person he's fighting doesn't know how to dodge CC, or would go to focus the healer while the dps just runs away?
I doubt you've done more CS on me on both healers. When people stop working as a team there is a "small" chance that team can still win if the enemy team decides to go full [filtered]. I never said I choose not to use them, but thank you for jumping to conclusions anyways. Lets me know how much you're paying attention to the OP's thread. Pretty sure people know that they're not meant to solo heal, here is where I question where you said "I've done more CS than you and on both healer." Because ANYONE who has done CS on both heals knows that there are some times where you end up solo healing and you should expect that to happen a few times.
Healers can't keep up with the 50-90k damage hits from damage classes. Healing for 16k wouldn't be so much of a problem if the damage from dps classes wasn't so damn high. I can spam target heal with totem on the ground while using boomerang and still feel useless when a damage class opponent farts out a 80k crit on my teammate. Hell, I've even died a few times basically being almost one shot.. Asking myself "WTF just happened". I have to scroll to my combat window to find a 80-90k crit just landed on me.
I bet if any one of you that play a damage class received a 50% damage reduction in your main skills you would be here on the forums complaining. The fact is that damage has not decreased meanwhile healing has been nerfed by 50%. I understand that healing at one point was very high in FWC, and CU. However, don't confuse that with Corsairs and EQ gear because it was never overpowering as my heals were 31k before the 50% healing reduction.
The point is the nerf was very heavy handed it shows more in equalization gear and this should be addressed not ignored like Enmasse/BH have successfully done this far. PLEASE do something about this already!!! Jump on a healing class staff and see for yourself because I truly believe your living in the dark when it comes to this and sadly enough I think it's because of the lack of involvement in game.
Priests and Mystics got nerfed heals after awakening patch. Mystics suffer the most because no one in PvP eats the [filtered], and you can't use the enhanced thralls there. So your only option is nerfed focus heal, ball and totem, as the heal thrall is really useless to heal others (you can, but good luck). Priests handle much better because they still keep most of their healing skills, even if a little nerfed.

Thanks Enmasse, and BH! The only reason that kept me going into Corsairs was legit thrall of vengeance. Since you know you nerfed my healing into the ground I figured i'd just heal and focus on getting kills. 70% is very heavy handed and of course I can't expect anything but this from YOU guys because you always seem to go further than needed to the point of making whatever it is useless and broken. Now that you've wiped the option to use this thrall it's not even worth stepping foot into this battleground anymore. It was awful already that we had taken a 50% nerf to our healing but this is just the final straw. I'll be on during fraywind days but as far as corsairs goes you've left me with no choice. I can't be bothered. It's a literal joke at this point what you've done to PVP and to healers and it shows heavily in equalized gear. I knew BH had no intention of improving PVP nor do they care about PVP content in this game but [filtered] hell I never imagined that it would get to the point that healers are damn near useless. May as well remove healer roles from the raids and have an all DPS/TANK raid party. Since you know damage output has remained untouched and in some cases buffed or soon will be.. There should not be 70-90k crit HITS in PVP when the healing is in it's current state.
