Dropout punishment?

I don't understand this dropout punishment feature. I was doing an instance matching group on Sky Garden, when two people went offline and another dropped. Even though I was made group leader, the only options afforded to me was to continue playing (impossible) or drop out. It's disappointing when I just wanted to play a little before bed and now I'm locked out.

I think the feature would be better if it somehow recognized that it would not be possible to finish the dungeon with the two characters left (lvl 53 & 54).

Those were not the only two options. You can disband. Or if you're the only one online I believe you can kick people. You can also recruit members as well. Dropping out is not the only option lmao
  • That disband option didn't work, nor did the reset instance. It said something about voting in progress, yet there wasn't any vote.

Do you typically use acronyms that add no value to the conversation?

Wow defensive aren't we, it wasn't the first time someone got offended when I used lol and lmao either

Maybe you initiated a vote and it got bugged I guess that can happen... either way did you recruit for a new member and tried to kick/disband then?
  • I couldn't see an option to get a new member(s). I know it is possible, because the lead did it on one of the other dungeons yesterday.
  • If you're the leader, go to the Instances tab. Once you select it, it will automatically prompt you to either Recruit additional party members, or continues As Is.

As for voting to kick people, it has to be a 100% vote, and those voting must be in the instance. So if you go in a dungeon and you have that one tool who sits in highwatch forever, every other member has to vote to kick them, yet they cannot help to vote to kick someone from the instance if that makes sense. At least I'm pretty sure that's the way the cookie crumbles Bruce.
  • Thanks! I was looking in the group section. Now I know where to go if it happens again.
