How does the giant bams loot and system actually works?

Is it completely RNG or it is based on other factors such as hits per minutes or DPS ?
Also why does the giant bam despawn after a certain time? Is there a timer?

    I know a place which have average of 3 bams per room, are there any other better locations you could suggest?

    RNG drops. Sometimes you get a lot of letters other times you get mostly consumables or a lot of scarves.
    I like to farm with my ninja since shes fast.

    The boss from Demokron/Tree one only drops letters though from what I've read and seen.

    There's a set % chance per hit to drop an item.
    The BAM has a set amount of times it can be hit before it dies, it doesn't matter how much damage you do it's just a hit counter. Once you hit it enough, it despawns. Pretty sure the limit is 300 hits?

    The tree one only drops letters (I found two and it was a pretty crazy pinata). The titans have a similar hit count mechanic (not sure if same amount) where once that limit is reached, it does its death animation. The titans have a loot table with letters, anniversary scarves, 3-day AoT costume box, bravery potions, AoT themed consumables (at least these are all the things I've gotten so far). The drop chance for the consumables are the highest while the lowest are the scarves and temporary costume box.
