Warrior help please.

Hello I'm level 58. And just found out what edge does and using scythe. So I tried to put this into my set up.

Problem is edge won't generate on anything for me using edge skills and I'm not sure why?

It stacks on the enemy you're fighting and is shared between all warriors in the party. It shows up as the yellow bars under their HP (Red when it's 10)

After the warrior revamp (Which is god knows when), it will stack on you
  • I don't see it at all
  • The bars under their life is for being enraged.
  • I think I see now. PC is in a different patch so there's looks like a debuff
  • Edge is the bars under like the Viny said. You have to look directly under the enemy health bar and when it turns red is when you have 10 stacks on the enemy.

Like Viny mentioned though, edge is SHARED between any and all warriors in the group so other warriors could just be dummies popping scythe off cool down which screws you.

Also, I think that edge disappears after the target doesn't take damage for some time so if a boss goes invulnerable and can't be hit, you'll have to restack edge.

Also - never use scythe unless you have ten stacks (red bars under targets hp) or if you have to because of boss mechanics/invulnerability coming up.

So this is what I've gathered, in the PC version you can go over 10 or at least the post I saw but you lose a lot of dps for a guaranteed crit.

On here it's easier by a long shot you just have to watch for the red bar then you have about 5 seconds to use scythe if you do not the stacks reset.

Once you hit 10 stacks you must use scythe within that small window it will not refresh by using more edge generating abilities you just restart the stacks. That's what I've gathered testing it.

PC can't go over 10 stacks, it still caps at 10. "Going over" is a term used when you do a combo that would techincally push you over 10 (Like a 3 Edge combo when you're at 9 edge), but you don't actually go over 10 on the stack and therefor "Waste" the edge

This is wrong as well, you can tell if the boss is enraged when their ENTIRE HP BAR is glowing red (And they often look visually different as well). Again, those Bars under the boss is your edge

On bosses the edge bar tends to blink slowly so it gets annoying sometimes its just something to watch out for as well
  • Also you can keep edge up still when bosses are invulnerable, just the damage get´s negated.
