Question about Slayer Apex skills

Hi, which slayer apex skills are part of the inherent chain combo, and which ones need their own key to be clicked individually? I can't seem to get an answer from any slayer mains in game that doesn't sound like complete gibberish lol

You can be a little creative in your usage of Punishing Blow. What's important is making sure you don't use Heart Stab or Knockdown Strike before casting Punishing Blow so you don't use Overpower on the wrong skill. It's also important to know Punishing Blow needs an Overhand Slash to speed it's casting. Knowing all that, starting your chain off with Eviscerate > Overhand Slash > Punishing Blow > Overhand Strike if cooldown eliminated > Measured Slice > Overhand Slash. From here you can tailor your filler to the situation. Punishing Bow won't be off cooldown quite yet so cast Knockdown Strike and/or Heart Thrust to utilize Overpower before starting your classic Eviscerate > Measured Slice chain. If Unsheathe (Unsheathe needs it's own key to answer your direct question) is up, Savage Strike being on cooldown is a good time to get it charged up and swung as well. For me, I have a hard time not just using but I'm betting better Slayers than me use it between chains, it makes sense.

Savage Strike can also where appropriate start your chain, as it leads into an Overhand Slash. You must be careful not to cast both damage swings to be able to have every hit count as behind the back, the second swing cancels the back damage. I think this skill sounds more awesome than it really is. It's not like you can just face tank a BAM with it. You'll get staggered or knocked down. In dungeons, if Backstab is on cooldown it's a fun ability if you'd just assume do some damage from the side for a few seconds.

I do tend to spacebar when I'm just doing mindless IOD bams but I highly recommend pushing buttons by hand to quicken the pace of your casts. We went from using like 4 skills prior to this update to needing to be ready to cast 9. The spacebar is clunky AF trying to weave all that.

I thought about this after posting, to use the sequence I posted above, Punishing Blow would indeed need it's own key. It will only inherently chain after Measured Slice has cast. It's not a huge deal for a filthy casual like me but when damage matters on boss fights, getting Punishing Blow on cooldown ASAP so you can OP KDS or HT between casts is pretty important between cooldowns.
