how to increase my critical dps

Apparently I used more power and gave a critic of 4,397,754 as zerk, thinking it would give more criticism I put everything into a critical factor but my dps fell dramatically to 2,500,457, someone knows to tell me if what defines the critic is the power and what is the minimum value that I have to have in the critical factor to give a good dps damage?

my critical factor now, so should I leave the strongest power to get back to critical review at 4,397,754?

That screenshot is from Channelworks...and you hit it with the buffs which doubles how hard your crits hit sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo yeah....doesn't help that it looks like you hit from the front, meaning you're missing out from Bitter/Savage's effect and the 6.9% damage line from weapon....and we can't tell if you overcharged for 4 ticks for the damage either so you could potentially be able to hit alot harder if you did everything correctly

Your weapon should be rolled for 2x Enrage damge lines, 1 Behind damage line and 1 Flat damage line (And 1 Crit power line if you get ambush since there's nothing better to roll). You should also be using 3 Manorborne + 2 Shadowvain accessories rolled for 4 crit and 4 power (4 HP/Endurance for earrings and power on Necklacde) along with Crit/power on belt and Crit on Quickcarve brooches. This is how to get the most damage (as long as you hit from the back)
  • really hp or endurance in the earrings is something useful, could not try power or critical factor in them too?

The roleable stats of earrings have no crit or power.
  • Crit factor only increases your chances to crit so spending everything on crit factor is bad for dps.
You need to balance it and focus on crit factor, power and crit power.

Crit is the most important stat for zerks try to hit like 315 to 330 total or so including mystic buff. If you prioritize it you will do much more damage
  • if you get around 250 crit factor for your class (slayer is the only one that needs 320 for cap) then you will be set. After you reach that cap then you focus power and crit power.
  • I think the OP is confused between Crit Rate and crit power. These are two different things and so is Power on its own.
Crit Rate - does not make your damages look higher, just makes it so that you can crit more often.
Crit power - increases the damage when you crit so you can see those millions of damage. Only applies when it’s a crit tho.
Power - increases how much damage you will see overall, kind of like crit power but this one applies to non crit hits too.

As others said, don’t focus on just one of these. Roll so you could have some of each.
  • I keep reading the term "roll" in reference to many combat related things (eg: roll your stats?). Would anyone explain this to me (non MMO / game expert)? Thanks!

We are indeed talking about stat rolls that you can get on your equipment

Look at your gear (not idoneal), you will see 4 lines (2 on accessories, 5 on Ambush Weapon and chest) that have a green arrow and the weapons are either Gold or green. These are your "Rolls", you can change them by using Masterwork scrolls (Or semi scrolls on accessories/belt/brooch) to change them. Gold lines increase your ilvl while greens are trash...You ideally want all gold lines that increase your DPS the most (AKA: CDR/Enrage damage/Behind damage/Flat damage lines on your weapon, never crit factor or power (Unless you're a zerk/Brawler with a 5th line) and Power/Crit/A-speed on gloves) with full damage reduction (Flat/Frontal/Enrage) on your chest with the top line being one that benefits your most important skill (This differs per class, look at guides). If you're a healer, you want things that help you heal (Like CDR/A-speed/Healing on weapons and healing on gloves)
