We were really looking forward to the AoT Screenshot Contest during our 6th Anniversary Month, but ultimately the stars did not align to make it a reality , and we can no longer push forward with that specific Event.
Do stars really need to align to plan a contest?
Yes no kidding. May have been a poor choice since EME has been having trouble following through on planned announcements it seems.

I'm assuming there's not much you can tell us as to why, Cobalt? Like, higher-priority decisions, etc, etc. Transparency would be best for the forum.
Did he really think I was asking if actual stars had to align? That would be quite silly. To some, his response could have been seen as snarky.
Anyways as to not derail, I'm merely disappointed that the announcement comes after the fact when the event was scheduled for a week ago. It only took the forums days of asking for them to issue a response. It's not like, "oh no we can't do this event, let's say something beforehand or during the scheduled time (that was announced a month ago) so people aren't expecting it to happen still."
