Very few metas from caiman stashes. So I grind VG and dungeons for mats to convert. Which is no where close to what metas you used to get fom VG.
Generally because i am employed and have other things to do, on weekdays I try to do 8 VGs and or dungeons. On weekends I do it until it nerfs, 16 I believe?
If there is a better way to get metas now, somebody please clue me in?
Golden plate is one thing I can craft and convert to meta. Not an alt person trying to farm on 10 different characters.
What gear do you have?
The best way to get materials worth enought metas is doing dungeons according to your gear item level.
Island of dawn is only worth right now because the double vanguard request rewards but after they get back to normal rewards then IoD is just a waste of time, a 2 star dungeon is worth more than IoD in gold, enchanting materials, vanguard credits, item exp... the only thing IoD is better is about reward points and tokens from their vanguard rewards if you are still trying to get etchings and glyphs, otherwise you should avoid IoD when there is not double or tripple reward on.
Typically I do IoD bams frost giant, naga btlmstr, and hydra.
Dungeon wise I do Sky cruiser, red hold, Therm factory, lilith keep, dreadnaught, shattered fleet, and ravenous gorge.
You should not have issues to enchant your other gear pieces until +5. If you only have one character then you will struggle to enchant your weapon at its current level.
1 hour per day should be enought to get 40 jewel boxes from guardian legion (worth more than 10k) and those Tier 3 bams. Maybe you will have even about 15 minutes left that would mean a 5 star dungeon. If you have 2 hours per day then that means more dungeons to get enchanting materials.
If you can play 2 hours a day I dont see issues until you reach +5 with your other gear pieces. Also remember that you can buy entrophyc boxes with your vanguard credits.
At your gear level you should be doing the 446 dungeons. RRHM, RKHM/EM should give you plenty of materials for enchanting your stormcry gear. The metamorphic emblem nerf is meant to promote people to actually do dungeons suited to their item level. Meta emblems are meant to supplement mats, not making up the majority of them. Missing a single copper clasp for your next attempt? You can use the emblems instead of running dungeons again. Getting all your mats from those emblems was simply not meant to be. Sure you can still work your way up by spamming lower level dungeons but it will take way longer.
Ever since I learned RRHM and started running it consistently I never ran out of mats like Artisan Tools again. Literally have over 100 of them sitting my bank right now.

When I had total absence of any mats to dismantle at scry 6 0 0 0 I did guardians. Rubies to emeralds then to diamond and sell them, on earned money was buying depleted masterwork alkahest to dismantle. Together with credits from guardians it gave me way more than any dungs.
But that's just my experience.
explain why there is between 1-3 pages of talents listed at any given time then.
I'm not lazy, I farm talents to sell them. Taking advantage if the garbage fire prices.

I've always farmed in this game a lot. During vm days I'd never experience the lack of feedstock or mwa because I loved to spam dungeons, and I still do. I never bought mats off the broker either, ever.
But the last few months have been cancer for me. Harder content that actually requires more than 1% of your brain power and is actually, you know, fun rewards me with 0 talents. After revamp came about I've had the patience to do iod every day and I did have a nice amount of talents, but these things get boring quick, especially when the vg cut happened.
I'm absolutely disgusted and disappointed in the community that has no shame and says things like "you're just lazy". No, I'm not lazy. I just don't want to do cancerous content. Period. Like holy [filtered]. I can't believe people defend this lazy system that rewards bad and undergeared players. Not only do you defend it, you actively [filtered] on people that actually do dungeons. Get your head out of your [filtered] and take a moment to look at the situation. When did revamp come out? October?? For 7 months, seven months, the fastest way to get golden talents has been.. low tier iod. Jesus Christ. And people still defend this system.
