RNG really?

ok the chance to upgrades up to 74% and with 100% IXP FM +8 is 52% +1 for rewards so yes count them 7 fails at 53% + i didnt think an FM upgrade was suppost to cost you 4 days of that toon legion missions just to not get the upgrade i under stand this is RNG but this is way out side of norm. 450 darics 60 emerald 84 liquid metal and 63 harmonic device

  • This is why I just sell all my materials and buy Stormcry or +15 deathwrack from broker. Might cost a little more but you save months of item xp grind and don't end up ragequitting in disgust after the 20th fail in a row.

    i like the AT IT there and post like yours is why enmasse never tracks there forums.the numbers statistically dis prove the RNG % given via the interface with the numbers i have and i under stand statistically that 1 in about 50 tests of this type would fail statistically speaking and i could have hit that 1 in 50 chance but now were talking about a 1 in 50 out of 1 in 7 so number in the 450 variables and each one o those would have even more variables just that odd of this happening with the numbers listed after running the numbers is some were in the amount of 1 is 23mil rounded down to the mil mark

    It's fake % and you just have to keep going. I'm failing way more with fm that has 50-60%+ than with 30%+ sc and that's on multiple alts with many many attempts.

    How is it fake %? As long as there's a chance of failure, it can occur. Hell, you could have 99% chance of success and still get a fail.

    I think more the game is broken. I mean, you can fail enchants with 100% success rate.

    I took 10 tries to go from +8-9SC on my reaper weapon...that's 930 golden plates (3720 gold talents) and 40 diamonds (400,000 gold worth) Plus the pansophic ash/copper clasps/artisian's Tools, or Elemental essence. Not sure why you need to complain on the forums... (8 tries for lance x)

    I have seen too many long sequences of fails to believe the statistics are correct.
    For singular enchants, it might be correct.

    My theory is that the server uses very poorly distributed random numbers, this is why you see many people win jackpots in a row. You will see lots of small numbers in a row followed by lots of large numbers (in a way that defies statistical expectation). So lets say you have a 60% chance, it goes to the next number generated by RNG (to be successful your chance must be greater then the number generated) and it's a 0.61 then a 0.892 then 0.723 etc, so you get 3 fails in a row and give up, then the next 3 people get low number like 0.126, 0.267, 0.023 so all one shot their enchant.

    If you are having trouble enchanting, stop and try again later.
