This game is really fantasy heavy. Still people are upset for a giant baby chick. I have to admit that tera has thrown their lore out the window but I like the items they release.

I'm not upset. I don't care. It's just funny. Slay fierce monsters from dangerous enemies while riding a baby chick.

First of all I've been playing Tera for several months and I have have two lvl65's. I first started playing Tera four years ago and still have items I have yet to claim from that period of time. With my background explained I feel I need to explain the title to this post and would love some comments about how your guys feel about what I'm about to talk about...

First of all I'm really not sure what the developers think Tera is... How can you produce, what I think is a Fantasy MMORPG with flying horses, swords, and magic, and incorporate modern objects such as high heel shoes, sunglasses, or a police car! It wouldn't be a issue if these modern objects were incorporated in the game world. As an example are there ANY modern roads in the game to drive your car on? How about a modern town in the game? Once your out in the game world everything fits together, besides the stuff on your body, but once your in Highwatch, etc., all you have to do is go up to the broker/banker to see everyone in there modern gear and it seems to be getting worse. Trust me it would be ok to put in a little GTA or a similar theme if it's reflected in the game world... Dragons and cars don't mix!

Let me get this straight, you're complaining over nonsense that really doesn't matter, when it's JUST A GAME!

Tera is summed up as the industrial revolution and medieval times, so that doesn't make sense together. So really if you have have problems with time periods? You really need to find another game! So here's my one statement for you!

Should BHS add more Tera based fitting on items? Yes they should! I'm kinda tired of some items being released. You have to admit that BHS have gotten creative at times, but they should get more creative a lot more.

futurist and fantasy, they have better technology than us, look their gunner, firepower of tomohak and light like a uzi B) the hb7 is better robot than our robot or drone, heal, strong firepower, can go everywhere

so the gunner can carry her gun, hb7 and turret without vehicle or help B)

even a cute elin can use this technology B)

    an they can teleport

anyway argon use giant robot size of skycraper, they have big spirit b2 bomber and masterize terraforming B)

we cant kill monster if we ride our mount
  • I don't really mind these costumes, because it's a fantasy world anyway, so anything can happen. For example, they have a talking tree, and that's not strange, but a baby bird and a police car is? (I know that the tree has mythological origins, but that's not the point.) It only seems strange, because it's new content, so it's not fitting into the older contents, but if they would have been there for years, no one had complained now.
So the thing that is a bit of a problem imo that when a new content gets released, it hardly can be part of the older content anymore. For example when they released the gunner/brawler/ninja, they didn't really add gunner/brawler/ninja/valkyrie NPC-s to the game. When levelling up from 1 to 65 we can see a lot of warrior/berserker/priest, etc NPCs, but not gunners (or maybe it's just me who doesn't notice them). And I know very well that it's hard to change an already existing content, just it's kind of out of place to only see gunners and such as players, not NPCs.
The costumes, too. It would be more natural to see players running in police loli costumes if we saw a police at the beginning of the game. Not that I want them to change completly the whole story quests, but it would be nice to add new NPCs in already existing costumes/classes to the game. They wouldn't have to have special roles, just maybe travellers or something, so people could get used to seeing them. (Probably a new modern town would also be a nice idea, so it gives an explanation where the clothes come from. Like they would have a different taste in clothes and style. And they could put in an explanation for the cars, too. They are probably using mana instead of fuel, so only the shape is modern.)
But really, don't get me wrong, it's not something Tera should priorize, the game is fine and all, just in my opinion it would be cool to see the new content merged with the older ones.

    But...high heels aren't modern.

there is a few npcs that actually have the costumes, however you dont see them till 65 content echos of acana and IoD but if you just rush through them its easy to miss esp since from what i remember sonya's bodyguard is the only one wearing a noticeable cashshop cosmetic. which is the blackguards costume. Should tera include these npcs more i say yeah cause itd be nice to see however i have heard some snide comments about "advertising to spend money" from a few people i occasional talk with so i can say itd only be received more negatively esp with how things are at the moment.

When the game went free-to-play lore had to take a backseat to whatever people are willing to spend money on in the cash shop.
  • only good from tera... umm let me think....
