I'd abolish contribution points on cs 'cause differently from fwc it doesn't tell the truth about who gave you the victory.

I don't get why in a bg where you win 'cause you have good mates closing gaps at ladders, shooting ships, and stay where lead order, the game rewards more pvp heroes that keep pvping outer while 15 people are burning ig and more than often hinder your team.

CS is not cancer it's just an amateur game. Go play any game with your friends and the result will be the same. Many of them don't know how to play or don't care to win. They are there just to have fun. It's completely normal.

You can't have fun with relentless crystals? How can it be fun, when you die so fast?
  • @siuzi it's common TERA knowledge that fancy costumes boost your stats by 400%. I'm surprised you didn't know this. Perhaps that's why you're getting kicked.. your costumes aren't fancy enough. :p

Sorry, didn't know :surprised: I spent all my gold on fancy crystals.:expressionless:
  • @siuzi it's ok... common mistake. Crystals aren't really necessary for any TERA content. All you need is a level 65 brawler, ninja, gunner or reaper, a spacebar on your keyboard, and a costume that makes you look awesome while you afk in Highwatch. Shiny titles over your head are a bonus, but not necessary.

As for CS, I've never done it, but it's my understanding that you can just run around in circles like an idiot. When people yell at you, just pretend like you don't speak English. In the end, your odds of winning will still be 50/50, regardless of whether you try or not, because there is a 50% chance that people on the other team are also equally incompetent. Does that sound about right?

Not really, the only trick that makes your chance to win cs way higher is to learn to lead and to not bother about whiners.

That's because if you start with no lead or infinite lead random pass is extremely unlikely for you to go anywhere.

My crystals in broker now. Damn, how stupid I was..
Actually, I heard about shiny titles. Do they really gives you +90 power and +200 crit factor? If yes, I need one now. Do they stack? Can I buy it somewhere?
And.. If healers run together around map and cap pyres, does it gives more points to win fwc? What about cs? Some points > Healing people, so they can get more points because they are alive and can kill, right?

I'm raid leader. We are attacking.
    - 20/20 SOUTH GATE, I will take pyre, Ignore pvp -
    Round starts.
1 in NS, 2 in SS, 2 Going to North gate, some people taking ladders, dies on them. 2 Taking pyre with me, 3 guys trying to take down gate. Dies. Everyone dies. Hardy niveots scream about heals.
    - heal? -
    - OMG LEADER STFU U NAB!!!!!!!!!!! -
    - leader? can you learn to lead? -
    - healers wtf -
    - algum br? -
Does being a leader who knows what to do and tell others helps to win? Yeah. But not then, when people don't listen.
  • SinastriaSinastria ✭✭✭
That's true, but most of times if you have at least a good 15 people listening you it goes well, and definitely it's better than leaderless runs.

That said leading bgs is more like a patience trial. :3

Sorry, but the "no pvp" thing is stupid. Unless they only have like 3 people attacking your raid it may be possible for healers to heal it, but if they have 10 people attacking your raid and/or killing the healers, then someone does need to PVP so we can bring that gate down without many wipes and complaining for heals. I'm not saying everyone should PVP, but a couple need to distract them.

I'm jealous of the screenshots you provided, sometimes I see people with missing crystals or nothing in CS still. I honestly get angry at people who come in the wrong crystals, just do your daillies until you can buy the proper ones or use cruxes since it's CS. But seriously, don't come in like that, it just screams "I wanna be carried" because you're useless. Also it was tested not too long ago that monster crystals do not increase the damage on gates, the post was on reddit though.

First of all, try reminding people to change crystals. As was stated....some may have been doing bams and forgot. Same with glyphs.

Also, PvE crystals no longer help against gates. So that excuse is no longer valid.

As for CS being cancer? IMO, FWC is cancer. At least in CS I have fun, and the games tend to be less one sided than FWC. FWC is boring, where one team almost always dominates (and being on either side is boring.)

It's a damn shame CS gives such garbage KS. This really needs to change. The current KS reward is a joke. It forces me to have to do crappy FWC (I miss the old FWC, which was way more fun. When pyres were more than just decorations.).

What you just said is very narrow-minded.

It is true that people can be an [filtered] or a complete illiterate noob not following the leader's order and PvP outside the wall or in the yard when it isn't necessary, but that's not always the case. In certain situations, and by that I mean often, by PvPing and surviving multiple enemies allows you to control and thin down the number of enemies that are going on your teammates, whether in offense or defense. And by successfully doing so greatly increases the chance of success as a f*king team.

It applies to CS, and at the same time, FWC.
I've been holding 3-5 players on my own every time I go for PvP in CS, and about 3 in FWC. In many cases I would dispose of them, but in the case I can't, I simply survive and lure them away(CS), or wait for support(CS, but mostly FWC). And guess what? Any decent team you get queued with would've already put out the enemy swarm by a breeze and acheived the objective, or come to your aid. (For those of you who are blasting your opinions of such actions in FWC being stupid, remember: the reason you don't scatter or stray out by yourself is because you get REKT and end up feeding the enemy. It's not a problem if you own them and feed your team instead. So maybe practice more..)

So what if I'm not the only one doing that or if a healer happened to be with me?
How, you ask? If you do the math and count... yeah you know, sarcasm. But just in case you do wonder how to achieve that kind of play and mentality, I kindly ask(warn) you and anyone who were about to agree with you, to think more open-mindedly and not judge people's action by generalizing. Maybe even to think more like a team-player for the team, if it's not too much to ask.

Sure, the noobs are very annoying and hateful, PvPing for no reason and worse yet, dying like flies and dragging down the team and the plan. But by any chance that your object of hate isn't a noob, they are majorly the cause and reason to your victory in any BG. Make sure you remember that.

R.I.P. my crystals are all dyad niveots, can't even sell them to make back some money... T.T guess I'll fuse them for the lols and throw them out afterwards..
And I'm buying runs for the shiny title now! But it's so flpping expensive. I'm going broke between the fancy costumes and title AHHHHHH!

Whole thing would turn serious if all pve servers are removed and everyone is forced into a pvpve environment. BUT, that won't happen, and since it seems nobody at the dev department cares for pvp that much, the pvp community has to deal with pve-ers who are there just to compliment their pve.

As for NPC targets. If they do die faster with pve crystals, then that's proof enough to me that devs really do not care about pvp. I mean, I could see some kind of strategy here, having to gear some of your party in pve gear to deal with those targets. But that would be useful if all the parties involved were actually coordinated pvp minded people and not random pve-ers who are better off fighting actual mobs.

Though if what that reddit post says is true and pve crystals do not affect them, you can disregard that last bit I said.

As for pvp crystals. I think there's little excuse. Every time you log in, a window pops up telling everyone the kinds of crystals they should carry for pve and pve. This window cannot be closed by pressing your esc key so you have to manually mouse over to close it. It's intention is so you read it at least once. Fine Cruxes and common (white text) niveots are cheap and can be obtained easily by either visiting the nearest broker or the local crystal merchant on high level places.
