no you cant just if you look on your Quest after finishing one it shows a different one > reopen and it changes to the real one which you need to do actually. so thats misleading and i went to kill wrong bams so many times...
try those things on an archer ... your stun is over and before you charged up a skill youre beeing overruned and in a kd chain ...
than u feel the "class balance" they did that archers taking more dmg ... jesus thats really not worth
But, the stun duration is way too short and bam turns around too fast. It's much harder with some classes. it's just so much easier and faster with brawler and ninja.
I usually just look for the green exclamation points above their heads if I'm not sure I'm on the right one.
And yeah... stun duration for archer traps is not nearly long enough to maximize back crit time. For something like RoA, you pretty much have to cast RoA, then immediately afterwards cast the stun, and just hope that the trap hits before the BAM turns around. Casting the stun before, the BAM will break out of the stun before you even have time to use another skill. And also the archers taking more damage thing... LOL. Just LOL. I'm really curious to know the justification behind that nerf. Has anybody ever complained that archers were too tanky before? I mean I guess I could understand nerfing us if we like, oh I dunno, wore metal armor, had a little robot that followed us around healing us, and leashing us away from impending death, and a long range skill that counted as a back crit even when fired from the front... obviously that would be way too OP
Or make it so that being in a party does not increase the number of bams you need to kill, unless the other party members have the same bam quest aswell.
Means we can get it in 6 months.
Also means they will not do anything regarding this again until then (since it's eme/bhs's logic - won't make any change to address the current issue if it's gonna get solved by some patches in the future)
As for side crits from spiteful, now that I analyze further, is a sort of second prize. Full back crit setup that uses savage and weapon rolls still needs the attack to come from behind. Hitting from the side will only proc the spiteful, leaving savage and weapon roll unused. Sure, ranged classes should still stick to spiteful because switching back to bitter gives absolutely no returns, but be mindful that the prime spot for dps is still the back, and only the back.
