How bad is it really? Like kick from groups on pc bad? Runs take 5 minutes longer bad? Youre dragging the group down so we will silently judge you bad? Cant run relevant content because youre, from what i was told, 2nd worst dps in the game bad?

What am i looking to go through on pc and subsequently on console when it drops in 400 monthe from now? I was looking at moongourd and filtering all the content like nightmare birch etc to guage and it doesnt seem THAT bad, clear times vs meta comps dont seem that far apart.

Can i realistically play the class for fun without being a bother or a wall for others to feel like they are carrying me no matter how much i frame through mechanics or can i just delete the game now?

    ummmm No class is really trash. I dont know where you got that idea but classes right now are good. Non awaken classes got a flat damage boost soo they can catch up to awakening classes. The only time you become a trash DPS is that you ether dont know how to play your class or you have really bad gear on a dungeon that you are not suppose to be in.

    I keep hearing console peasants saying that tera PC is unbalance and its dying because of that. Its no man if you suck at playing Ninja then its just you no one else.

    On release, ninja was really really good.. i'm not sure where console patch is, but ninja is still viable until awakening, basically. Post-awakening it's the lowest DPS and also suffers from a bug that makes it's dps even worse at times. You'll still be able to clear content even then, just you'll be doing literally half the damage of awakened classes.

    They fixed that bug with AAHM release.

    The class is still garbage without KTERA's talents though.

    I thought ninja was fun when I played one for a while. Ended up deleting that character, but it wasn't because I thought ninja was "garbage".

    They are the lowest dps class no matter how good the player is. Of course if you know how to play it you will outdps 80% of the population because everyone knows tera players are not the most skilled.

    Op if you really want to play ninja, play it. You can clear all content with them and since there's no dps meters on console you can't even really compete... So play what you like.

    I don`t know how well ninja would work on console or if its fun to play like that, so I can`t really say. In fact I think that consoles are a not good a platform for something like Tera, in general. That`s just my opinion though. Well since you asked, I personally don`t have any issues with ninja. Its just like all the other classes, if you get good at it, you will do good dps and nobody will ever complain. Its viable for all content. Ive seen alot of people express concerns about the lower end dps, but honestly I think that people should play classes they enjoy playing. I mean if you`re going to spends hours on playing a class, it might aswell be something that will keep you sane through the grinds.

    Besides. I don`t know much about what Tera is like on console, but if its anything like it is on PC, then I don`t think you have to worry so much. If you`re good then chances are that you will out dps most players, regardless of what class they are playing. Like on PC zerks are op af right now, like Jesus Christ. But its not like you get to see godlike dps in every single instance you do. Most players are okay but not like "TEACH ME SENPAI" kinda good. Maybe on console its different, I dunno.

    You can still clear content...just don't expect to be ontop of DPS charts unless everyone in your party sucks

    Last time i saw on moongord when i still bothered with this game, the top zerk (best dps by far, broken af) was dealing 350% more dps than ninja on slaying HH p4, that's how serious "competitive pve" on Tera is..
    Is ninja still viable to clear all content? Maybe yes, but let's wait and see DS4 on NA.
    Btw, no amount of player skill can fix "HORRIBLE game design" :)

    DPS isn't the be all and end all, though. If you like the ninja class, then play it.

    Playing the highest dps is only something you do for min-maxing purposes, and play with other min-maxers, if you aren't one playing with others who are, then there's no point to it and you could just go with what ever you enjoy playing.
