IOD dailies only giving 1 box now?

So I noticed that all the Island of Dawn dailies only give 1 box and only 12 dawn tokens now. Was the double box thing from the anniversary event or something? I came back to the game recently-ish and don't remember if it was always 1 or 2 boxes per IOD daily. >.<

    Double vanguard item rewards were part of anniversary events which rolled over into the new weekly event rotation system:

    It will be 4 weeks until there's another event that doubles the item rewards again.

    Depending on how long ago you played we had a permanent double vanguard items event active, which was put in place to compensate for things in other versions. The event ran out at the new year rollover and it was promised that instead of reactivating it we would simply "have more double/triple vanguard item reward events." instead.

    They should just turn double vanguards back on all the time. Wasn't the excuse for removing them that with double vanguards on all the time they couldn't run other events? Well the anniversary month proved that that's not an issue so there's no reasonable reason not to turn permanent double vanguards back on.

    ps. When was the last time we actually got a fabled triple vanguard event?

    agree, IOD is again more than pointless. and according to people crying about even gold talents its a silly move - to disable double.

    Turn it back on. Golden talents are already expensive as is, don't want them going higher.

    it's a 5:1 nerf because double is only once every 5 week, without giving meta token and you have no material to convert ... i guess it's only downhill from here
