Ok:
1: General needs to be fully customizable meaning turn on/off things (block NPC chat such as enemies shouting constantly every attack; player obtained Tier 2 Feedstock; You are in / no longer in combat; You can't use that skill right now, etc
AND it needs to be able to be color coded (colors really need to addressed; it's hard to read a lot and also have MORE LINES and a way to change to a semi-transparent background for text box (can't call it a chat box in it's current state) and quest boxes!)
2: General should default to your choice such as say/group/guild/area and only show those.
3: World filter is literally just a spam of money sellers. That needs to be addressed as A: it's useless to players and B: it stops the devs from making more money when people are using a 3rd party to buy gil.
4: Blocking said money sellers is tedius and pointless since no one else uses that channel because it's well... Pointless and tedius (it's like 4 button presses&loading screens to block someone on PS4.)
5: Log: This should be all the random junk that's visible in General now as addressed in point #1. That's the only place this info belongs. Leave General to group/guild/say only and let us COLOR CODE those things so if I'm in a guild and a random dungeon I see both EFFECTIVELY without random junk taking up space. That's how we can effectively communicate!! As it is on console Log&General are the same except everything in the pointless Log is also displayed in General literally making General pointless and SEVERELY INNEFECTIVE. It's sad.
6: Whisper: No point because it's always (System:Tera There are active events. Visit website for more details.) I have 20 of those in 2 hours of play and zero actual whispers despite 3 dungeons and many more requests to group up. It's useless.
