Changes needed/wanted for this game

Besides fixing the bugs and performance issues I would like to address the following things which I think would massively improve the game:
1. Allow to customise the UI. Move the HP bar, chat window etc. to position them the way we want.
2. Customisable chat window. Reduce font, increase number of lines, custom tabs. Basically what we have on PC already.
3. Add gear and glyph presets that can be saved. Switching between the setups for different activities every time is a nuisance and I see no reason why consoles still don’t have that.
4. Add trading system from player to player. Just like the PC again, no reason why it’s not there.
5. Player invites across world maps.
6. Bankable goldfinger tokens.
7. Permanent shape changers. Plus a bewb slider.
8. False modesty and confidence potions like we had them on launch.
9. Custom chains for skills. Some of them are useless and just catch you casting something you don’t want if your attack speed is too high.

TL DR: add the missing features from PC.

Comments

  • They are okay with the game as is. Performance issues and QoL concerns don't matter. As long as their business model is working, they don't care about anything else.
  • there's been a weird release schedule of features on console compared to PC like we are getting things in a different order than they released on PC. that being said system changes are likely to be a later change since my guess is they went with the simplified UI and guild system setup intentionally for console to streamline focus on gameplay

    > Iirc They said a bunch of optimizations and system upgrades were coming with the ninja patch on aug 7th.

lol it might be too late by then. Welp.
  • basically they wanted to have the minimal functionality to ensure the console version was "working" before adding more of the system changes... that being said we are still above where the first 3 months of PC was at (and back then PC was P2P)
  • Yes PC was broken beyond belief on release, i remember being unable to log in for almost 2 days after the release...
Either way I get why they did what they did, but still as there’s no active support atm and the staff rarely checks forums I wish there would be a way to know. Even if it’s not soon, I would just want to know if they’re actually working on it.
  • staff communicating on the forums is a rare thing unfortunately. It seems like we don't have any active community GMs for the console version like the PC used to have (idk if PC even still has that since I haven't played on PC in 3-4 years) but they used to have a dedicated GM that would hang out during events and communicate with players (generally over the in came text chat)
  • @elixir66 I can safely say there are in-game GMs that show up every now and then to mass ban bots and other annoyances. If you spend a whole day in Highwatch (i did while I was chatting with friends and listening to music) and around 3 am CST we seen all spam stop and the bots were gone XD We though it was hilarious, but we also thought they just turned off the bots for the night. NOPE! All new bot names were spamming the next day. (spamming the same damn thing mind you, but new bots) At least we took that as confirmation that the GMs were at least getting on and doing their job. The bottters are a persistent bunch of [filtered] unfortunately though :(
  • back in the day when nexus was new on PC (showing how long ago I was actually active) I remember GMs would actually pop up in town and get involved in casual conversations with the players with whatever BS was going on in trade chat at the the time
