    Nobody is paying 280~ ish dollars for a +9 wep right off the bat unless they are some spoiled rich kid.
    Then you haven't seen some of the [filtered] I've seen, lol. Legit met people who've geared multiple "alts" in this way, and every week I run into some trap dps in LFG/IMS who has a +7 weapon with garbage armor/accessories because he bought it.

    If you want the BiS gear you need money and lots of it. Most people dont have the time to grind as you would normally have to for it. So in that sense, the game has designs built in, if you spend money you can get BiS gear, but its choice, not a necessity.
