From what I understand the main reason why they removed race changes was from people complaining about they are not able to change there costumes with there race. Here is a small idea on how to fix it.

Put in 2 types of race changes 1 normal an a bundle one with something like Kaia shop crystal in a bundle that allows you to swap your clothing to match your race. not only that would make a item useful again. it well bring back race changers as well.


Have the bundle cost 3500 emp. while the basic one cost 2500 emp.

What are your guys thoughts on the matter should they keep it way it is and not out right remove it. Or do something and allow service to be reenabled again but for 3500 emp. Maybe something other. let be know below on how you guys fell about the removal?

    Well this was unexpected, i never thought they would remove that one. They might as well could had removed the Gender change, as the costumes for males are different than the ones for females.

    More bad decisions from EME, but i have a faint hope, that there is a reason for this all.

    If anything, the amount of people wanting to race change, and change their outfits with the race change, AND transfer the outfits from one character to another, has dramatically increased.

    I would like to hope that this Race change voucher removal, is a step into the direction of giving the players again a method of changing costumes to the correct race and gender, and allowing us to remove outfits and cosmetics from unwanted and non played alts, to put them into new characters that we would actually play.

    But then again, i doubt it :(

    Probably the "change their costumes with their race" is one of the problems, but theres a bug where, when you use a race change you will lose your apex skills, happeded to me and some other friends, with no solution though, i have been about 3 days with no apex (healer) so i cant do anything that id like to do (aah)

    Huh? I don't remember any post stating they were going to remove race changers, but only a pinned post stating that they will no longer swap over costumes when you do race change. Very bad move considering now players don't have the freedom to race change, whatever you choose it stays that way, sorry but horrible decision.. don't fix something that wasn't ever broken.

    No official statement has been posted like some tweaks in dungons the "Bad ones" they don't list like for exsample "Buffing def in SC" to make it go on longer. they never said that but it till happen. Ninja patches happen all the time.

    Maybe they can upgrade race changes while they're fixing it, to convert your costumes too :^)

    they might as well charge people for it. they overcharge for everything else, so why not this too. 50 usd for a weapon skin that's only character bound....

    Amazing EME, you manage to find a new way to surprise us every day, a FIVE hour maint for a patch that added next to nothing and [filtered] up an item this badly and not even caring to make an announcement anywhere but your [filtered] discord server.

    I feel like all answers should be posted in the tera forums here 1st before they post or tell in other social media sites. its like an easter egg hunt trying to find out any information pertaining to tera sometimes.

    Obviously, I'm a forum person too, but I honestly wonder sometimes if we're a dying breed. The EME Discord has over 6000 people online on it, and over 18000 offline at the moment. Granted some of them are for EME's other games, of course, but maybe there really are more people there than on the forums these days. Still, I agree that there needs to be one single consolidated place for all the latest info that everyone can go to, and a chat isn't very good for that.
