Is gold selling allowed?

I've played on both EU PvP servers on PS4 and both of them have someone spamming the Velika chat with advertisements. I don't even know how to report or mute those players. Their advertisement is everything I see in the chat. Isn't there any penalty for this? It is getting out of control and I'm considering going back to Neverwinter because of this crap.

    it is not allowed and they are not doing very much regulating unfortunately

    Go to the chat (touchpad + X) and press Square. Select their name and it takes you to their PSN. It brings up their profile. Choose the ... spot and select block.

    It takes a few minutes for Tera to register the block but it does work to block them in-game.

    even more ridiculous that people are "selling" gold like that when there is basically a legal and supported means of buying gold built into the game so idk how any of those gold spammers actually make any money when EME basically lets you buy gold directly from them by reselling EMP purchases
