so is mean they fix the wizard/witch bug ? because i remember the shitstorm on their forum while the may update
and from what i read people wish than they didnt update balance class, because they ruined the half of class in black desert, while the class you know is still OP and it seem than their pvp is more rng dependant and than the gears carry more the pvp than before may update
now if you want compare, we have to wait like 3 or 4 months after korea update to get for exemple male brawler or elin gunner
for black desert say to me how many time we have to wait to get kamasylva update or lanh update after korea got it ?
and only for this week i have to download 3 times a update for black desert
Yeah hes just lying. One they only do weekly maintenance not 3 times a week...no mmo does?
I have a strong hate for BDO but their maintenance is better than TERA...sadly.
BDO comp you every time there is extended maintenance with mostly blackstones and what now TERA gives us jack [filtered].
so how you explain every week we have to download 3 times a update before to open our black desert ?
ye 10 blackstones
BDO user here o/
Most important point, beneath all the snark and cynicism, is that maintenance windows for this game just need to become more predictable, so that it's more common to be early or on-time than late. Right now, if you look since the beginning of the year, the percentage of completions within the scheduled maintenance window is probably about 50%, and lower if you only count major patch day maintenance. Obviously their goal should always be to get that on-time ratio higher.
Because many people who play this game do NOT have schedules like that. And that number is not insignificant.
Also, that's not really the point. The major point of contention is that maintenance time hits, then it gets extended. Then it gets extended again, and again, and again. And this has become both increasingly and alarmingly frequent. And this is all before we get to the fact that some major problems still go unfixed, and often times new problems are somehow created.
Query: What was the patch where it took another 4 hours for the game to come online on top of the 4 hours it took for maintenance? Was it the Godsfall patch or another one?
PST. The past year and a half (maybe longer?) it seems every time I look at discord during patches, sometimes a normal (if you call all the swaps from Tuesday to Thursday normal) maint still has the servers down around 5pm EST. Which if you're assuming the majority population is on a 9-3/5 schedule then this is pushing into their playtime constantly.
I understand extended maintenance occurs because things are unpredictable, but when your player base now has to expect every server downtime to take an extra 2-3 hours (or longer) it looks very unprofessional.
