Why are Flight Ceilings So Low?
Why are flight ceilings so low? I despise the mini platform jumping games and was greatly hoping I could fly and avoid them, only to find that flying stops below the top in the places I have checked.
Some may do well at those, but I suspect some of it is a keypad challenge for me. I really wish they were removed. Heck, I would pay gold to jump to the top of most of them, especially the dailies in the upper left corner of the map.
It also ends up cutting the ability to fly over some mountains without a strong reason, but I can live more with that, except when I crash because I come from a high to a low area.

Otherwise, the main reason is because of the origin of flight on the PC side. While the Highwatch area maps were designed with flight in mind, the other parts of the world were added after the fact (and opened up one region at a time on PC). Probably there are ugly textures and other weird artifacts if you go up too high in the older maps, so they had to keep the ceiling pretty low.
