[Question] Fast Travel, Auto Travel and Buddy Code

I'm new to Tera and I notice that some of the quest maps and NPC are far from each other. I'm having a hard time to find teleport zones on some safe zones. At some point when I really don't know where to find the teleport NPC, I just buy Map Scrolls and TP directly to the map I need to go.

Does TERA have some kind of auto travel for a quest? Or do you have any tips so I can move faster and do my quests quickly? It would be a lot easier if there is auto travel instead of pressing "W" for a long time.
If there is an icon chart for map NPCs, it would be really helpful if you could send the image/link here.

Thanks in advance!

EDIT:
Another thing I saw was this "Buddy Code". I think it gives you benefits as you level and for the "buddy" as well. Does anyone have an unused buddy code that can giveaway for me? And is it still redeemable if I'm already lvl 27?

For fast travel, there are some options, although I think most of them have some drawbacks.

I think at the moment vanguard quest teleports are probably the best kind of fast travel we have. If you open your vanguard request window (H by default), you will see a bunch of quests. Most of these quests will have, if you click them, a teleport button, and solo quests will also have a check teleport location button. This is free, but you may not find the place you want to get to.

Some ways of traveling to villages:
Option one is village atlas, which takes you to any town in the world. The drawback is that these are cash shop/elite items, although you can, I think, grab some from the trade broker, and they are awarded in the calendar every now and then. Another option is teleport scrolls, as you've already discovered. You can travel between continents by using Velika/Allemantheia/Kaiator scrolls (you can buy these from merchants in any town) and then taking the pegasus from there. Depending on your race, you will also receive a skill that can teleport you to either Velika, Allemantheia or Kaiator. Obviously this is still much slower than desired. There are also specific village scrolls, but you can only get these in that village (eg if you wanted a Crescentia scroll, you'd need to go to Crescentia and buy it from the merchant there). You also have safe haven scrolls which teleport you back to the closest safe haven, which is 99% of the time the nearest town. Instance teleportals can also teleport you back to the nearest town for some money.

    For traveling to not-villages:
Aside from vanguards, there are teleports. Once you're in a village, there are teleportals that take you to the camps in the area for a little money. As far as I know there are such teleports in every town, but I'll grab a screenshot for you of what the icon looks like on the map. Sadly you can't teleport from one camp to the other in most cases, and some NPCs are not in these camps. However in open world structures (such as Azrael's Labyrinth or the Eldritch Academy in S Arun) you will see a popori teleport master in them camps who can take you to the different levels. What I do when I don't want to run from one camp to another is usually just safe haven scroll --> teleport back to town.

( http://oi65.tinypic.com/2rnj5oi.jpg - you can see the teleportal icon here, all teleport icons look like this, and here: http://oi66.tinypic.com/2vtsmbl.jpg is a picture of the actual structure you're looking for. This: https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/t__/images/a/ad/Taorun.png/revision/latest?cb=20130302101028&path-prefix=tera is a teleport master.)

I think that's pretty much it. Other than this, use autorun and marvel at the beauty of the environment as you try to get from one place to the other :')

As for buddy up, you can only use it on a character lvl 9 or lower, but you can still redeem it for a second character now, and as long as you reach 65 within a month, you will get all rewards. You can find codes from pretty much every server in this thread: https://forums.enmasse.com/tera/discussion/27838/july-buddy-up-codes/p1
