Ktera plans crosslfg. It's the only way.
Eme said they will not merge. It's pointless to give them ideas. They even don't do the job that they promised (!) and you here discussing stuff that had NO as reply from beginning.
Util EME releases some sort of population chart, I feel like people are just talking out of their [filtered]. I feel like the issue here is the LFG being empty or queues taking forever, but then again, IMS is cross server therefore a merge would be pointless. I’d say a cross server LFG might be the best solution.
I honestly hope it doesn’t happen, and not because of the names (weird thing to focus on tbh) besides, if the merge does happen, all the people on the more populated servers won’t have much to feel superior over anymore.
A guildmate pulled up an old page about CH and how the players had to adhere to a special set of rules designed specifically therein (like how your character name had to be an actual name and not something like, say, "Pancake.Ti**ies"). Anyone remember that first-hand? What happened to cause the change?
I do remember this rules page. That said, I don't think it was ever really strictly enforced; they were more recommend guidelines for those who wanted to RP. At a certain point, CH just became a server like all the rest that happened to have the RP designation on it (so that people who were interested in it could go there if they wanted). Once the game transitioned to F2P, it would have probably been too much work to actually try to enforce these rules on everyone who might join there.
Basically, I think they had big ideas when the game first launched, but it was the sort of thing that worked a bit better when you had a more "gated" P2P/subscription game.
I hope that eme was thinking about this when they decided to do the server merges, but its hard to tell when they don't really tell us anything.
Not enforced for years I would say, last time I made a character there she was named Priestnado and the most I got of reactions on that was people thinking the name was funny, and one single guy wanted to marry me (well, she was adorable after all...), so funny name + 1 single RP interaction.
That was maybe a year ago or so. To be honest I never even knew about such a rule set.
leave erping alone

I was thinking the same thing lol
RP server or not CH like AV and FF is pretty dead, we have the same right to become a healthy server just like the other servers.
Its not like there is much RP going on anyway these days.
