why is this always happen... i just started to play, and when i create a character.. black screen always happen. please reply im on atm.

    you probably just need to find your s1option.ini and change your resolution to the correct one for your monitor.

    Yeah, also try maybe pressing Alt + Enter on your keyboard to see if it will switch to Windowed mode. I guess the resolution it's trying by default is not supported by your monitor.

    i have done doing it... but still the same... the worst thing is.... when i try to make a character... my cpu crashed and really need to restart

    Just a head's up, are you taking a long time to create your character?

    It counts as being idle and the game will close if you take a long time. I like to dither over appearance so I work around this by writing down the slider numbers for the appearance as I go, then backing out of the creator, going back in and making the character quickly.

    Does this sound like what might be happening to you?
