Linking item in chat

So I can't link any items in chat. I already looked this up on google and I've tried everything people said. When I do the combo click
the item does end up in the brackets <Item>, its a different color of course but no link. someone explain or help please.

    no link that how it is friend first you put wts wtt wtb do the combo click as you call it some items have different colors because of the type of item after that you hit enter.

    but can you tell me why other people dont see it as a link. because i can click on other peoples things when they link it. but when i post something with link, people cant click it

    Let me ask you one thing: what is your character's name?
    Or, at the very least (for privacy reasons), does your character have anything on the name with "[name].ComXX" (change XX for anything, or nothing)?

    I remember my character named Elin.Complex couldn't link anything in chat because of that, since it triggered URL filtering. Also, people couldn't inspect me or do any chat commands, they could whisper me only by clicking my name and doing so through click, but no "/w Elin.Complex".
