Random question

Why is sync queuing a thing? I feel like it completely defeats the purpose of solo queue BGs when a match is decided solely based on the fact that all of the big pvpers are queuing together and thus are on one side.

Queuing as a party = big wait times, queuing at the same time = the first option without the wait time. Doesnt make sense and thats obviously a flaw in the match making system. Yeah i know sometimes sync queuers get split but when its a big q like *cough* manifest *cough* it really doesnt matter.

  • People want to enjoy the BGs with their buddies, simple as that. Many people like to play together and co-operate. (I did too, when I had a lot of time to play and a friendly guild) And since the queue as a party is broken, they do the sync queue.

I have often seen same guild on opposite sides though, and sometimes even with few manifest people the party doesn't win.
They are geared and skilled, maybe closer to server than you with less ping, nothing you can do about that and nothing is unfair there.
Just collect your 4/5 boxes (depending on BG) and move on :)
