Why all the discrepencies across En Masse regarding Tera PC merge? Please clarify
YOU: Edit: From Friday, September 9, 2016 at 10 a.m. until Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 10 a.m. (PDT), server transfers will only be available FROM Fey Forest TO Ascension Valley. During this time, server transfers will be free and the transfer limit for gold will be increased from 50,000 to 200,000.
ME: How do I transfer characters from/to AV, CH, and TR? I read in another place on En Masse that you can transfer up to 1,000,000, but above there is a different limitation?
YOU: What Are the Restrictions for Transferring to Another Server?
When transferring a character to another server, the following restrictions apply:
Character must not have any non-transferable items in his or her inventory or pet bank. You can find a list of non-transferable items here.
ME: What does this mean? If my character has obvious soul-bound gears & weapons, among pets & mounts, costumes, etc, How can those items NOT be transferable, it is almost like you are saying that toons will transfer/ merge, but NOTHING they have will.
YOU: Only items in your pet inventory and character's inventory can be moved. The bank does NOT move with the character.
ME: This is in direct opposition from the statement above, so which is it? And what do you mean the BANK DOES NOT transfer with character? How can it not? I paid a lot of money for the extra bank tabs and for the items in those tabs across all those servers.
YOU: Is There Anything I Should Know Before Transferring?
When transferring a character to another server, please keep the following in mind:
Any additional character slots or bank tabs purchased on your character do not transfer.
ME: Again, what does this mean, clearly I have bought several character slots and bank tabs over the years. I have 6 bank tabs total for each bank on TR and AV, and 11 character slots on AV, 15 on TR- I am expecting that when the merge occurs ALL my bank items will combine and I will have 6 tabs. So if I have 100 speed potions on AV and 90 on TR, the new server will show a total of 190 in the new bank with its 6 tabs. I will have my wardrobe tab with ALL my purchased wardrobe items, whether or not they are non-transferable, combined. I have a total of approximately 500K in gold, between AV & TR, I expect it ALL to be merged on the new server into my bank with its 6 tabs.
Please respond so I can either delete or transfer toons. I think it is a bunch of crap that I have to lose so many items and toons without any compensation. We are talking hundreds of dollars. I enjoy playing across all 3 PVE servers and have 11 to 13 toons on each server, they all have pets, costumes, mounts, soul-bound- non-transferable items, etc. Some places En Masse states those things will NOT transfer, nor will additional character slots or pets or bank tabs, wth?

so in order:
1) it's not 2016, it's 2018. the million gold limit is accurate, and ALL server transfers are free.
2) literally if you had clicked "here" where you copy pasted that from, it gives you the exact thing you're asking for. you can't have stuff bound to other characters, you can't have alliance stuff, and you can't have elite vouchers (a couple other things too but that's the most common)
3) you're getting a MERGE confused with a TRANSFER -
merge = your whole account moves to new server without your input.
transfer = you choose to move one character, your bank does not move.
4) the transfer rules do not apply to server MERGES. after the merge, you will have the higher amount of slots, if you had 15 on tr and 11 on av, you'll have 15 slots and need to delete characters until they all fit. the same for bank tabs, if you have 4 on tr and 2 on av, you'll have 4 tabs. your items all go into a *different* bank that you can't move stuff back into. gold is not affected by merges in any way
Personally, I would suggest figuring out which chars you want to keep (up to 20, because that's the max slots you can have one one server) and then transferring the rest to CH or the pvp servers while transfers are free. They'll be giving out 8 character slots whenever they feel like it (eme lol) in your item claim, so you'll be able to max out your slots on TR, but only keep a total of 20 characters. Like I said, transfer the rest to CH or pvp servers.
Just for clarity, for everyone who logs in starting next Tuesday at 11am PDT until the merger.
