Any plans for addressing the lack of VM7 design drops?

Over 120 SSHM clears in and have enough mats for a whole set of VM7 and some more, can't find designs apart from transferring to another server and paying a mill or two for them. What is the point of running end-game dungeons if the drops are absolutely useless?

    The upcoming Manglemire and Dreadspire (season 3) dungeon instances are supposed to from VM7 designs (even VM7 whole BoE)

    Do you have a source for that? I don't remember hearing or seeing anything about a connected event that had a potential reward of designs.

    u run tarski's playground and get coins? Tokens? Or something and exchange that to vm 7 designs. The event dungeon is one time thing though. I got this info from ktera inven.

    Thank you for this thread, I was about to write one up too.

    Here's the math..
    12 weapon designs
    12 armor designs
    3 boot designs
    3 glove designs
    2 brooch designs (one for each craft armor/weapon)

    That's 32 possible designs. Potentially needing 4 designs if gearing full set.

    All of this is excluding the materials you need to farm; bark being among the hardest, if you can clear SSHM consistently.

    The drop has a lower chance than bone and quills, but for comparison sake lets go with bone. A drop that you needed only ONE of and you were done with your weapon all of patch, because it was better than the crafted versions.

    It has a rate similar to ancient wishes, maybe even less. Considering the number of different specific designs, it's ridiculous to expect the one you need to drop. Even then, you'll have to roll for it.

    I wouldn't say 100%. Something similar to bone (ABHM) drop chance would make sense, since we're working with a pool of 32 possible designs.

    It could also be the same person buying his/her own design with his/her own money, to set the price in the broker. I seen it happen before. People will use their alts to:
    - List an item
    - Send gold to the alt
    - Use alt to buy item
    - Give gold back to main
    - Price is set in the broker and they can profit from it.

    I can assure you that people do and have been paying the prices shown for a design.
