I just described the hard way from frost+0 to stormcry.+0
Heroic gear must be even worse.
It's part of a rotating schedule of boosts and bonuses that I actually find very motivating. Right now is the best time to get extra items, later it will be exp, and item xp later yet. I don't recall the exact sequence but it has me regularly checking the in game calendar. The gold boost will come back.
@Gatokatzen
+All high tier hard mode content now gives golden plates in the vanguard.
+Nightmare Antaroth now gives 1 veilthroch in the vanguard.
+Veilthrochs can be banked
Boom, done. People need plates to enchant heroic oath. People need veilthrochs to enchant heroic oath. The enchanting success rate on heroic oath is NOT 100%, so there's no reason to be stingy with these materials, especially when multiple are needed for each attempt anyway. You do this, and wham, people are running AAHM again instead of getting discouraged and quitting the game until the gearing system improves. This also stops people from feeling like they're running the hardest dungeon in the game for no reason when their team members snipe the veilthroch 3 runs in a row.
After that, you could've just kept the low tier content at the same gold reward, because lowering it now, after people had almost a year to get used to it, obviously isn't gonna bode well. Economy's already ruined with inflation. And now people who didn't spend the last year making money appear from thin air have less ways to do it than before. So just keep the old stuff people like, and improve on the stuff people don't like. You don't have to gut older stuff to push people into doing the new; if you make the new stuff good but keep the old stuff good too, then odds are people will actually do both of those things. This happened with RKE too. When the new dungeons came out, RKE's drops got a nerf to "push" players to do the new stuff instead. What logic is this? You can always just make the new stuff better; you don't have to go out of your way to make the old stuff even worse than it'll already look in comparison.
we asking for gold cause is important to enchant , I know whales are angry cause everything cost x10 more than before and they cant sell. Due to their costumers now, are the same whales.
If they removed the earned gold ammount ,we only ask for a several gold nerf in prices for enchant process, at least to allow more people to reach stormcry. And fill those 446 looking for groups.
You seem like a very bitter person. Basically, easy content now awards gold based on the difficulty. If you have 439- gear and want to do 412/431's, you can get to 439 in a few days of farming... once you're 439+, you expect to improve at the same rate, running the same easy dungeons? No, you have to do 439 dungeons to get rewards that will progress your 439 gear at a reasonable rate.
also i don't really get where your rant about priests being better at priest than you are came from but i can assure you in proper dps crystals/glyphs, a priest can clear pit in around that time even without top tier gear..
incidentally, I've been free to play for years, i had to grind the same 439's that are available now, except they gave less rewards when i was grinding them. the fact that you're complaining about not being handed buckets of gold is entirely laziness. learn to play your class well and farm dungeons equivalent to your gear level.
Tera didn't have to be "just another KR game". Korean games on a global scale do very badly. For some reason Korean developers are completely unaware as to what the cultures of other regions are and always make design choices that contradict what they marketed.
I made a new character on a new server literally a week ago, starting from nothing.. it took me 3 days to get to 439 ilvl without much effort. Once you're 439 ilvl, it's easier to gear than it used to be because 439+ dungeons reward more gold. The reward per effort for new players is higher than it has been historically, so I'm utterly failing to understand your point here. Perhaps my own fault, but then again i'm not the kind of person to mindlessly grind the easiest content in the game for my own benefit.
As for the totally unrelated priest comment, just google it.. there are videos of it being done legitimately, no need to resort to baseless insults just because you can't be bothered to do research.
I kinda like the gradual progression
I really only get queued for the 412s or when I help out the lvl 60s (my friend is climbing at a snails pace and I love helping/meeting randos) so I feel like now I have less of an incentive to gear and continue, hell I barely play outside of rootstock (atm) and helping my friend climb.
This nerf to 412s feels kinda like a slap to the face for new players who start the gear grind as well as a slap to the people who kinda have to rely on the lower ilvl dungeons (431s, before merge anyways, had the shittiest queue times hell all dungeons had [filtered] queue times for my old sever but esp. dps 431 queues) , it has no real relevance(?) / it shouldn't even be something that a bunch of ilvl 439'ers shld complain about.
I dunno, i've read through most of this post and it just seems so funny to me that people who already have end game gear, which is now hard to call BiS, say that new players have to suffer how they did (for jokes sake: link) rather than understanding that some players don't wanna grind and suffer through months of RNG hell just to play dungeons they wanna play.
for example! SSNM came back and I remember playing that alot when I finally had the ilvl to play it originally, it's a fun dungeon to play with friends and I have clips from when we had that lag crisis 2 years ago and my friend and I were rubber banding all over the boss, but now that it's back i have no desire to grind/gear to play it.
i dunno what I was trying to say with this but I guess my point is that the i439'ers in this discussion sound like old angry players in some regards that have a sever disconnect from the newer playerbase, regardless of how small it is
criticize me abt this all u want, I'm not good at explaining stuff

So, you need to queue solo via IMS. If you run into a new player you can get the reward, if they 'compliment' you, if I read that correctly. The reward can be quite a number of talents. (Though I'm personally not happy with just how large that random range is. Sure, not getting 1,000 every time is perfectly fine, but we all know that you're probably just going to get something like 5-30 far more likely.)
Still, a reason to run those dungeons, if you need more talents, so that's nice. With the reward being from the IMS, you can even just do that after you're already done with your Vanguards for the day.
The Compliment mechanic seems a bit limited, though I like the concept of using the solo IMS queue as the mechanism. They could perhaps expand the use of that to other areas where they want to get people to use those systems more.
Dungeons this applies to:
Not sure if we'll have the same dungeon list, but that is what is in the translated notes in any case.
For reference, the notes from last week seem to match up to the 2018-May-31 ones from K TERA.
