we need sexy vampire 36F elin class. ASAP :s:s:s:s:s

36F? Chicks with that chest size typically don't have the booty to complete that nice hour glass. Best to dial it down to D range to keep it in the realm of reality'ish'ness'ish'ness :)
  • Throwing two cents in here:

I think to approach the line between healing/participating, they would have to put in a unique healing class that is much more complicated. Someone said earlier that the proposed shield/warden class would be too complex... but we already have DPS classes that are wildly complex if you play them at their highest potential (ex. learning skill cancels for berserker, warrior has a really specific move chain, etc). So a "harder" support class - that all races can play - would be a unique addition.

I think the melee healer idea is a neat one. Personally, I would kill for Bluehole to take a cue from Fire Emblem or (god forbid) AION and do a dancer/singer class. I mean, obviously with less flare and more logical motifs for the setting, but the idea of having a class that has to dynamically apply buffs rather than solo-focus healing would be fun. Something where they have the capacity to boost attributes (Ala the Priest's blessings/Mystic's auras) but they can only do so for certain lengths of time, and run a passive that has a lower buff than the blessings/auras, but serves to fill in for the longer lasting nature of those buffs, versus stronger buffs that are cast for a minute or so.

edit: would probably have to be a close-range execution circle, ala mystic apex thrall cast.

As someone who plays both priest and mystic, it's like they try too hard to do everything, so you end up with several skills that have no utility, or only have utility in certain dungeons.

Bonus endorsement: please male valk/gunners.Or at least male gunners.

THIS!! I agree 100%. A dancer class would be amazing, especially if they were a melee support with the ability to boost the main healer (the Priest/Mystic) and, possibly, provide iframes to the team.
  • Mystic was originally more of a support than direct healer with their old motes, totem, and (Lock-on-heal that I forget the name of) all forgoing instant healing for a regenerating effect, coupled with their ability to summon thralls to aid in combat. They also had access to 4 different auras they could swap between to give different effects based on the situation.

We still have the four auras, it just happens that swapping between them isn't very worth it.
On the rest, I agree that was the concept for mystic originally but it was never like that in practice.
Mystics never had enough damage to be considered DPS that could sometimes help out the healer on the side.
Sure it's always been more of a hybrid class in comparison to priest, but mystic has always been considered a healer. Even before we had full stamina res, mystics could solo heal all 5 man content, so at least in my book it never was just an off healer in practice.
  • Please no unless it’s balanced. Priest just became relevant again after a long suffering. :(

BHS has the game heavily focused on damage and evading. Creating a heal focused support is going to be pointless, not many would play it unless combat mechanics are redesigned around actually healing often like other games. Creating a purely buff focused support with nearly non-existent healing just re-creates the old problem where this class gets picked over both Priest/Mystic other than when the group is inexperienced, or it becomes the new support+Mystic/Priest if that offers similar/quicker runs as having 3 dps.

At best they would just do a hybrid class like they did with Brawler where it's a dps that provides buffs, but then comes the issue of most people want to just do damage, see the issues around Lancer where even when they had faster runs people still wanted them buffed or Brawler nerfed purely based around personal dps.
  • The paladin wouldn't have to heal necessarily. It could just buff and be an off tank support. Or hell, it could buff and just be support without any tanking at all. But the devs will probably make it elin exclusive crap or just allow one male type to use it. En Masse makes horrible choices.

Na seriously A new healer class will be cool for sure i am bored of mystic and priest.
We need a Alchemist class maybe

I dig it. Could be ranged class that throws alchemical bombs and uses a cross bow that fires vials of whatever, or a flame thrower type back pack. Basically the engineer from guild wars 2 or bomb/gunner from Rift.

We don't need a new support class.
