Things that would make TERA more fun.
Throughout the years TERA has been a game I keep coming back to no matter how long of a break I take from it. I've recently returned from almost a 1 year long break. I am enjoying the new crafting and gearing system, it's much cleaner than the old system. However I feel like some changes could make this game even better. Here's what I and some other fellow players think:
I propose bringing back old dungeons. I feel like there's not enough to do in end game. While yes having new dungeons is important as it keeps things fresh, I feel taking away old dungeons takes a lot out of the game. As a player who's been here through the years I really miss some of the old content. It was challenging, and fun. Seeing as dungeons no longer rotate out, I don't see why we can't have these dungeons back. Things I would like to see implemented back into the game and keep them in the game with updated loot, are as follows:
• Kelsaik's Nest 10 man.
• Kelsaik's Nest 20 man.
• Rift's Edge Normal.
• Rift's Edge Hard.
• Akeron's Inferno Normal.
• Akeron's Inferno Hard.
• Kalivan's Dreadnaught Hard.
• Wonderholme Normal.
• Wonderholme Hard.
• Forsaken Island Normal.
• Forsaken Island Hard.
• Sirjuka's Gallery.
• Kezzel's Gorge.
• Channelworks.
• Abcess Normal.
• Abcess Hard.
• Argon Corpus Hard.
• Manaya's Core Hard.
• Dreadspire Lower Floors.
Aside from those dungeons, another thing we could bring back is being able to queue for leveling dungeons as a max leveled player to help players level. You could add a way to get Silver Talents by doing this. You could also add the old hard mode leveling dungeons back into the game, and it could change depending on if there's a max leveled player or not. For instance you queue for Labyrinth of Terror, you can get put into Labyrinth of Terror Hard Mode by being with 3 or more level 65 players. Updating the Green Daily Quests to the present to allow a source of income like you used to be able to do during the max level 60 years. Updating and returning Nexus with loot/gold drops.
As of right now the game for me has a lack in ways to obtain mats aside from running the new content. While I'm all for new content, I would like to see more ways/opportunities for new players and old players to obtain the mats they need. This would open the game up to have TONS of end game content PvE wise. We could also bring back Crusades and have a couple of different categories for Crusades, and open up the castle's that were never used even when crusades was around. We didn't have sky castles for long, but every time I meet a new player I am always asked what they were for. It kind of makes me sad to still have the castle's floating around unused.
I've talked a ton about PvE, now let me move into PvP things that would be really fun to implement into the game. While we don't have much PvP content except for battlegrounds, and CU:V. I feel like opening up the old alliance areas as a PvP zone but not triggering the alliance event would be kind of interesting. You could use the area for a number of PvP events. Such as GM hosted Key Runs, where players venture out into the areas to collect keys. The players who collect the most keys could win something such as mats or a costume etc. If keeping track of how many keys a player collected would be difficult you could turn the Key quest from old alliance into a new way to farm Gem Boxes instead of having to grind out PvE guardians. Just basically turn the alliance zone into an area you can collect Gem Boxes in if you would rather PvP for your boxes instead of doing the normal PvE guardian grind.
I've been asking around to fellow PvP players that I know about things that they would like to see implemented into the game. Some suggestions that stuck out to me were:
• Nerf PvP damage/Buff PvP defense over all, so that duels are no longer quick one shots. Victory would then rely more on skill with their chosen class, instead of a class being just generally strong in PvP because of the Awakening skills.
• Skyring or Fraywind Canyon tournaments. (Canyon Clash, Skyring Slam)
• High rank rewards aside from just masks. Be it mats, or gold, or a cool costume only that rank can obtain.
• After PvP has been balanced damage/defense wise, GMs could host various duel/deathmatch tourneys. Would give something fun to add to weekly streams.
• Make it so that the highest ranks in solo 3s gets a decent reward, and shift the title giving rank from solo 3s to team 3s.
• Bring back conjunct equivalent gear so the gear differential is on the order of percent in all battlegrounds.
• Turn the Super Quizz Bowl into a 1v1 arena.
• A new PvP battleground that is 3 teams of 5. Each team would have to meet certain objectives (similar to Fraywind/Corsairs) to win.
• Fixing the GvG Bug, and allowing GvG's on the PvE server.
• Bringing back the outlaw system and true open world PvP.
Thank you to all of those who helped me make this post with your suggestion of things you'd like to see implemented into the game. I appreciate all of your help!

I'm terrible with acronyms ;-; Tell me the full name, and I'll add it to the list! If it's Akasha's Hideout, that is included with the leveling dungeons I mentioned. c: I meant all the hard mode leveling dungeons and only listed Labyrinth as an example of one.
If I remember correctly isn't EME able to speak with BHS? There has to be some form of communication going on or else patches wouldn't occur.
Yeah but they never listen to it since we're not koreans
Hell it took 3 years of begging and whining to finally get Talents to come over
I honestly intended to translate this, and then email it to BHS myself. I just wanted to see if there were other suggestions people had for the most part, and wanted to see if I could get any insight from EME as well.
I can see that being a bit of an issue. So maybe instead of keeping them in the game, we bring back the rotating dungeons and actually rotate the dungeons not just swap between Channelworks + Abcess and Akerons + Shadow Sanguinary every few weeks like it was for a while.
you can try that hope something happens send you feedback directly to bhs don't give EME.
Except they completely skipped the second Forsaken Island patch for us, entirely. :T They're just picking and choosing the ones that would be the easiest, when some of the other content would be really fun if they brought it back.
Less ridiculous armors and mounts being made.
