they clearly think that we are just going to play with any ping whatsoever, i have to use wtfast for play this, i'm at 180-200, without it i'm at 250-400, idk if will stop working after the patch but they took down dps meter too, an overlay software with free to read code, anyone can read the repository (well, not anymore because they dmca it)
and most important, we have lots of evidence that the GMs recommended us to use VPN and Wtfast, i have a screenshot too, they banned me from discord for sharing that

EME staff at this point feels like a bunch of Nazi silencing at all cost any justifiable criticism to their garbage decisions as a company. EME has shown through actions that they do not care about the playerbase enjoyement and performance of the game they are publishing. EME knows they have their days numbered with Tera so they are trying to squeeze us out of every single penny they can. Instead of actually doing something about the shitstorm they clearly made themselves, they rather post half [filtered] discord comments and forum posts that do absolutely nothing to address the outcry of the community. But oh boy look at this AMAZING DEALS on strongbox keys and start packs. Nobody is going to buy that garbage is even pathetic how they are try to push out those types of deals during a moment like this. What EME has done is irreversible, I hope they pay the price and eventually let the game die because of it.

For once i would actually like for EME staff members to go out to another state(im not even asking for much) farther from the servers and try to play the game with the ping they get there...
(kinda useless now that i think about it, sicne they dont play anyways...)

FWIW, they are half the country away from the game servers. Servers are in Chicago, and they are in Seattle.

sorry im not quite sure how far that is but fair.. but do they actually play though (or the majority of them i mean)? because we've had so so many times they proves us otherwise... and im sorry but i cant understand how you'd be publishing a game you know nothing or almost nothing about... this ping thing had been going on since the game was released. Considering NA is the one who has to deal with the biggest International playerbase you'd think things had been done, yet here we are.... we kept bringing this issue up, i'm sure you guys at the Council have to but why do we keep not getting anywhere? Does it have to be some kind of fix properly given by BHS and tey just dont care at all or...?
It just really makes me sad to see al of this happen, im frustrated.

I'm fairly sure that if they were to be any fix, it'd have to be done by BHS. The real issue is convincing everyone that this is an issue that needs to be prioritized on top of all the other things they think are important. Maybe this outcry will help. Maybe the change in population some are forecasting will help. I don't know. I certainly understand your frustration of having this important QoL feature presumably taken away with no alternative in place, and want to make sure EME appreciates this part and sets it aside from all the other issues they've faced related to these third-party tools. If they could implement meaningful fixes in these "good" areas, it'd remove the need for people to edge closer to the "bad." Anyway, hope springs eternal...

Honestly, I think all the people majorly inconvenienced by these recent changes should just quit. I'm not saying it to antagonize anyone. I just mean, the game feels awful at a high ping (the people saying it's fine either don't play ping dependent classes, which is all of the classes recently, or they don't actually log their damage and compare it to others to see how little they're contributing compared to someone with lower ping), and nobody in charge of the game cares enough to fix it, so just play something else. Stop enduring a bad situation and just do something else with your time. Look at the remaining community right now anyway; just look at the people defending this and sticking around in the game. It's nothing but the worst kinds of antagonistic white knights and trolls, as evidenced by pretty much any thread with them in it. I don't even need to quote them. Anyone who's been here the past two days knows which people I'm referring to. That's your community now. Is it worth it? Honestly? Just do something else with your time.

That's why i said that best course of action for overseas players without a local Tera server (BRs, latin americans, australians, SEA, etc) is to just quit and not support BHS at all, ever.
Imho Tera is not that great anyway to be worth all the trouble to start from scratch on EU, be called a cheater by "20 ms european players" and in the end prob GF decide to ban proxy and we lose everything again.

Heck, now BRs can play BDO with an insanely good 5-10 ms ping on local server, idk why they should even bother anymore with this game that was already a pain to play with all that necessary third party bs and now is just plain and simple unplayable.
