I'm trying to decide if it's worth playing Tera again.

I checked out the broker prices.. Apparently MWAs are at 60g each in TR..? Price of awakening and getting +15 is ridiculously expensive, how are the new players suppose to reach this goal? Just about last patch, MWAs were as cheap as 40g each. What happened to them?
Hows the economy doing in Tera?
Player base still active?
Lack of contents?

    I just started playing a few weeks ago and the server I'm on is really busy and populated at most times of the day. The new Ninja and content has been a blast. I don't know about the economy.

    Economy is ok at leats on CH.theres also the old class revamps comng our way so the game is taking a boost there so id say its worth coming back to ^.^

    You will want to join a guild to get help running dungeons for mats and the rest. It may seem that +15 is but a dream, but when you go to... everywhere, you see more people on +15 Starfall than on the current best +12. We full Slaughter peeps are a rare sight nowadays. Doesn't help that so many people think Slaughter sucks. >.>

    MWA is only expensive because new gear was released. MWA is quite easy to get now, with double VG rewards and MWA boxes for 200 creds.

    sure things may seem more "expensive" but it's also ridiculously easy to make gold now compared to any previous patch so if anything, enchanting is way cheaper now relative to the past

    MWA is expensive partially due to feedstock dropping like candy, they shot up in price once feedstock went down dramatically. There's also the fact getting gold is easy since you get a fair amount of it from dailies.

    Its a free to play game, it doesn't cost you anything to see it for yourself. Masterwork Alkahest may have increased in price but its even easier to get with Vanguard credits.

    depending when you last played, the economy may surprise you. I just recently started playing again (ninja...and bns letting me down) and the first thing I noticed was that dailies rewarded x5 (?) what it was when I left, so of course that had an effect on the economy I was accustomed to. otherwise I've already caught up gear-wise to tier 9 mw relatively quickly. I've personally always liked that tera made it easy for people to catch up within a reasonable time.

    The economy is push an pull atm. +15 isn't impossible. With+15 you either put in the time to do it or you buy directly. Making gold isn't as tough as people make it out to be.

    Old classes are getting a re vamp later down the line. Content is ok but only challenge in PvE is SS.

    PvP has lit up again but only due to SF mats being on the KS BC merchants. Tera is ok overall. Just be sure to join a guild and make some friends. The elitist have grown in number lately which is lame but eh.

    I'd say come back and join a guild. Massive guild update happening soon.
