At this point I'm pretty sure EME is either in complete panic mode and isn't responding here because they have no answer to the absolute f'kery they've delved into these past months, and know nothing they say will make the situation any better. Or they legit just don't care about this game or this community any more and probably just plan to continue as planned doing nothing and let this whole thing pass over.

I am pretty sure that they are giving much more attention and thought to Tera PC and that especially about the "UFO" moment where a great chunk of the player base suddently disappeared.

So far, i am seeing some better battlegrounds queues but i hope to see improvements about dungeons as well.

p.s and get that slaying potion out already

I dont understand either how Tera's management team still thinks everything is fine. We gave feed back but its completely ignored or turned into a p2w scam. Shame. Tera NA shame.

They may or may not actually think that. But I can bet my bum no management will ever come and tell you "Yup, we f****'d up! But please don't jump ship yet!"

I think the biggest reasons TERA is even still around is that a) it still has one of the best combat systems in MMOs, and b) its pandering (yes, pandering) to the elin players and having them snatch up cash shop items in droves.

Of course, things are a bit deeper than the above - as I said, I think those are the biggest reasons. The game still looks gorgeous despite how unstable and slapdashed some parts look (Velika rooftops, anyone?). The narrative being gated in some places is annoying, but the way it seems to take cues from Greco-Roman mythology is intriguing (to me, at least).

But let's be honest: both the publisher and especially the devs are constantly making bad choices. Nerfs that did nothing but anger everyone (gold drops), changes to things that didn't even exist yet (original gem drops in GG), borderline insulting solutions to certain problems (the gem and talent crates in the cash shop), lack of meaningful updates to issues that have been around for literal years (that f**king scarf/cape glitch), little to know optimization (things just got harder for controller players)... the list goes on. I surmise if not for the combat and elin, the game would've gone Tango Uniform a long time ago.

Digital Extremes did, twice tmk. But that's a whole other beast.

I dont think Theres anything wrong with a company admitting they goofed the pooch so long as they strive to be better and know the balance of listening to the community vs letting the community have their way too much and kill their own game.

As long as players keep sending them money, mEME won't care much about other stuff trivial to them such as *gasp* responding to/addressing player concerns about the state of the game.
If an(other) MMORPG can still survive in 2018 with less than 100 players spending (I'm actually playing that game, but I'm not one of the spenders), then I'm pretty sure NA Tera (and mEME's management) will just be fine and will continue with their shenanigans.

Same here - and honestly if EME came out and openly admitted, "Yeah guys... We F^%KED up. Things have been bad for a couple years now because of us, because we've been completely out of touch and have been dropping the ball hand over fist for the past few years thinking everything we were doing was fine. We admit it, we thought we were doing better than this and we're wrong - Going forward we're going to actively participate with our community to make what's left of this game as good as we can make it - and we need help doing this."

If they could openly admit that they were wrong - be legitimately sincere about it - and make REAL efforts towards making this game better and be worth playing again, I'd have a whole lot more respect for this company and its employees. But until they do it... If the phrase, "Innocent until proven guilty" is to be said, then as far as I'm concerned, EME is dead-to-rights guilty of killing this game in NA.

If EME needs any incentive to open themselves up and say they missed the mark, here's something. The new game World War 3 opened up to a disastrous weekend where almost nobody could log in. What the company did? They went into full apology mode. What the player base did? They gave support, accepted the situation, and gave the company time to fix the stuff. And they ARE fixing their things little by little. But it was the big apology and the openness that prevented players from fleeing back to Fortnite or to the new CoD (which is pretty good from what I gathered).
