Mini Map ain’t working

The mini won’t show my icon or move when I am outside of a major town or city. This only happens when I play my gunner. I am on PS4. Did I do something in my settings or is this just a bug?

    It's an issue that I believe is caused by having too many things displayed on the UI. The only way this can happen, to my knowledge, is to track too many quests at once. To fix it, go to your tracked quests and remove some of them.

    have same issue on my lancer for almost a full month nothing helps and support didn't either and she has my founder title mount weapon and costume plus appearance change. Still waiting and debating contacting sony._._. But good luck and your issue gets fixed.

    I see this on an intermittent, but regular basis. Some maps are more likely than others, with not many things tracked. Really annoying.

    It happens for me when teleporting to the lower base in Susurrus Woods (Sylvanoth) almost every time.

    I only have 1 quest being tracked on my gunner and it's not working for me either even when i open the big map the player cursor nor the quest locations show.

    Same, happened on 2 characters now, Feral Valley didn't have a working map for either character in 1st pass through area, resolved itself later at some point.

    Seems to be quest related as completed quests in areas with broken map and after quest completed started working again, this is was in the open world btw.

    Now the mini map in Fyrmount isn't working. It's like one bug after another is happening in this game...

    It is sporadic, but seems to focus on some areas, such as Feral Valley.

    Mini map in poporia isn't working that...the player cursor is gone.

    I have also had this happen several times, for each of my characters. It makes it very difficult to figure out where I am and where I am supposed to be going. It is definitely "hit and miss" where it will not work in a region, but will suddenly be working when I go to another region. "Sometimes" (not always) when that happens I can go to the quest tracker and select "Display Zone Quest Markers" and it will show my character's marker on the quest MAP, but still not on the mini-map. I have done that before (it works sometimes, but not always), then just went into the map to see where I was, to be sure I was still going in the right direction. It is still kind of frustrating, frequently going back into the map, then back out to the game, but at least it was a little better than having no clue where I was or where I was supposed to be going. It is worth a shot to try it, when the mini-map is not working at all.

    This issue is more important than the last two issues on the known issues list. And it's been around for a long time. They need to up the priority. I mean you can just wait 10 minutes for your gold boost or go somewhere else to craft or craft through the menu.

    Wow, I feel like I invested time in the wrong game again. This is game breaking too me and the last post here was in October and still no fix? No wonder this game is in a downward spiral, basic functions like the minimap keep breaking lol. SMH..
