I will probably eventually try an upper-level dungeon with a group, or a guild, or whatever. Unless Tera starts offering some content or dungeons with end-game rewards for solo players, that will be the only way I can do those kinds of things. Especially since the only Ambush item that can apparently NOT be acquired through the pay to win route is the belt. I can buy all other Ambush designs, materials, etc. through the Trade Broker, using gold I get from selling cosmetic EMP store items that I buy just for that purpose. Even the Quatrefoil Brooch was easy to get that way. Right now, I just have a Conflate belt, so I may someday have to try for the Ambush belt, by going into a 417 dungeon with a group, since I can't get past the first monster, when I try to solo them.

You actually cannot trade lady's handkerchief and envy crystals either so you have to do hard modes for those. I do wish you luck with your endeavor and I hope this community continues to grow :)

While I was working on getting Ambush gear, I discovered that I cannot directly buy Lady's Handkerchief, Envy Crystal, or Hypnotic Powder through the Trade Broker, but I CAN buy Lilith's Treasure Chests and Lachelith's Treasure Chests through the Trade Broker, which drop those items. The Trade Broker usually has a ton of those chests up for sale. Lilith's drops Hypnotic Powder and Lachelith's drops Envy Crystal and Lady's Handkerchief. I simply bought enough of both chests, until they had dropped all of those materials. Both chests drop Caprin Horn at a higher rate than the other materials, so I also got my Caprin Horns that way, which I crafted into Caprin Handles. I also bought some Caprin Horns directly from the Trade Broker, because it takes so many of them. People usually tend to list Caprin Horns and Caprin Handles where it is actually cheaper to buy three Caprin Horns and craft them into a handle yourself, so I mostly just bought the horns, instead of buying the handles directly, but I would always compare prices, in case I could catch a better deal on the handles. Lady's Handkerchief took the longest, because it has the lowest drop rate of all of those items, so those were the last things I finally got for the materials. I saw that the Lilith's will also sometimes drop a Lady's Handkerchief, but VERY RARELY. In some of my notes I still have, from when I was getting the materials, I have one note where I had bought and opened 188 Lilith's at once (I was going for more Hypnotic Powder), and I had ONE Lady's Handkerchief drop from that. I made a note of it, because until that point I did not even realize they would drop from Lilith's at all. I thought they only dropped from Lachelith's. Once I had all of the Hypnotic Powders I needed, I stopped buying Lilith's and just focused on buying Lachelith's, for the Envy Crystal and Lady's Handkerchief. Of course, after buying and opening thousands of chests, I ended up with a TON of tier 9 feedstock they had dropped, which I fused up to tier 11 feedstock and used for my first few enchantments, once I had bought all of the designs, then crafted the Ambush gear.

P.S. - When I posted earlier about the higher level enchantments needing to be a little easier, because it just takes entirely too much, I had just tried nearly 30 in a row, to get my +14 slippers up to +15, those were all fails, and I previously had multiple fails on them. I just now went through a series of more attempts, and on the 11th attempt of this round, I have FINALLY gotten my slippers up to +15. My Ambush gear is now all up to +15, except I have a Conflate belt, instead of an Ambush belt. According to the menu, I am now item level 435.
  • Finding a group for the Halloween thing is a pain. Why can't I queue for that? I could even live with 2 random other people. It is worthless now and I avoided it like I avoided the stupid frog drumming.

The hay bale was painful when it missed, but achievable after a time. Piglings were generally not as bad once it was clear what to do (not clear in game on that), though very frustrating when it started to fail.

The forced 1 minute delay on the latter 2 was the most painful part.

I actually forgot about the 1 minute delay. That WAS a pain! I "assumed" that was for when other people were waiting, so they could try their turn, while I was on cooldown. Even though I "think" there was a logical reason for it, it definitely did suck, having to wait. Unfortunately, I don't see a way around the wait, because if other people are waiting to play, one person could just "hog" the game, without a cool-down period.

I did the "Pit of Petrax" thing a couple of times today, and that was AWESOME! I was wondering why it was not a Vanguard challenge item, like Celestial Arena, Ace Dungeons, etc., but when I beat it each time, it gave some really nice drops at the end, so I am "guessing" they don't see the need to add to it with Vanguard rewards. It was definitely MUCH MORE challenging than Celestial Arena or the Ace Dungeons.

For anyone who has not gone in there yet, I strongly recommend taking some potions and activating your Noctenium Infusion, before fighting the monster, at least the first time. The drops at the end are great, so it is totally worth trying it out, if you haven't tried it yet! :)

Make it 5-10 seconds and you would accomplish the "hogging" problem, if it ever really existed, except for the very start of the event.

Allow changing channel to reset the timer. Going to another channel to be alone still makes you wait.

And fix the hitbox for the frog drums. Those are the worse.

I definitely agree they need to fix the hitbox for the frog drums. I did suffer through getting all of the permanents for ONE of my characters, but not my other characters. It simply was too frustrating, and not worth it.
