  • You don't need any ninjas, like the dungeon is balanced around 3 vanilla dps and a lancer. If people need ninjas to clear idk what to say. it's like when people couldn't clear tshm without a gunner or sorc. I have cleared easily with my very very bad archer and a sorc with double heals. If people who aren't ninja can carry my archer I think you are fine.

I know is balanced around the original dps classes, but its balanced around them being very skilled which, not to be mean or anything to most of the Tera playerbase, but very few people are actually skilled enough with those classes to do the dungeon with them. Its simply much easier to play the newer classes which is why its much easier to clear with them.

The problem isn't really the dungeon, its people not knowing how to play their classes properly.

Yeah you are right about that, same thing with gunner/brawler for queen on ds2. People are very gear carried and class carried now.

You should be able to take down 4 mobs even in lucid +15 as a lancer in HM. When i was in lucid I would use
2 piece power set so i could do more damage on the mobs and use double pounding as well. SSHM is really just a can you kill the mobs dungeon. It is the 2nd easiest HM this game has had.

Dude you sound like an [filtered] with this post. SSHM would be much harder with how tanks were before aggro revamp, being in +12 slaughter, and before all the new classes (other than reaper for a bit). People are also better than then since the advances in min-maxing. Just realize tanks didn't do over 1mill dps back then. Its not the dungeon, its what we have become. Still even after all these factors this dungeon is easily the most difficult since pre-nerf schm and don't [filtered] all over someone who you can visibly tell is really excited to do this dungeon.

So I wanted to update that recently I have cleared more sshm, woohoo.

My last 2 clears (6th and 7th clear) were with a mystic + priest comp and not a typical solo healer comp. The 1st one we had was with ninja, warrior, me as lancer, priest + mystic. Second one was priest + mystic + me as lancer + zerk + reaper. I know the 2nd one is not a good comp but we were still able to clear it. It's probably better to have archer or warrior instead of zerk for more balance.

I noticed my overall dps was amazing in our 1st team where I would reach close to 4m on my wallop and spring attacks were doing 1.2m at times with full stack. It felt so good that I hoped someone recorded the dps and curious to know what my dps was at each boss lol.

Even though I only have a few clears, it's because I can't run it much during the weekdays due to little time. So I can only run on it weekends and finding a good team sometime takes time as well. Feels good to get skilled status lol but I still need more practice at 2nd boss. I hate the mid mechanic where he randomizes the floor. I also realized if people dps hard, we can skip mobs more often resulting in less blue/purple orbs.

More like, if people DPS hard you can skip every mob phase after the first one.
