Why are showroom outfits not available for purchase

Looking at the showroom at what I would call just basic outfits, it is amazing that these are not available for purchase. Are these outfits considered special ? Why in showroom does it have a purchase box, if you can not purchase them?

The dressing room has been botched for a long time now.
They went through weird phases of only having purchasable outfits showing, to having everything showing, and now we're sitting at half of the purchasable stuff isn't showing and it has some seasonal stuff that you can't buy right now showing. They just kind of gave up on it and threw it to the side.

to add to Meningitis comment it was once said some time a ways back that after every patch they have to re add most the stuff manually
I suppose they just gave up/forgot about it or the employee doing it is no longer there and the others don't realise
  • They have to pretty much update the shop manually, and apparently whoever was in charge of doing that no longer does so, which means that the shop is often heavily outdated and almost never accurately reflects what is currently available for purchase.

Your best bet is to browse through the shop itself, either on the website or in-game. Some items will have image previews, some you might find in the dressing room, and for the rest you would have to look them up yourself. It's frustrating but it's how it currently is.

The shop has gotten more expensive and they don't tend the game well. I guess it's truly a sign it's dying which is a travesty. Nothing new has any decent combat system.
  • Sorry to hear you think the game is dying. The game to me looks not overly populated, but well enough to keep going for some time. Perhaps if they fixed some things that are neglected, they might keep players around longer. Just a thought

Thanks for the info, I do rely like this game
